Virgin River fans are in for a long wait. Netflix has revealed its 2024 TV slate, and unfortunately, the romantic drama is nowhere to be found. Season 6 of the show probably won’t arrive on the streamer until 2025.

However, several high-profile series aren’t on the list. That includes Sweet Magnolias Season 4, Ginny & Georgia Season 3, and Virgin River Season 6. While the list of new and returning shows is subject to change, chances are, new episodes of Virgin River...

But she’s hiding a big secret, which was revealed in the final moments of the Virgin River Christmas episodes, which dropped Nov. 30 on Netflix.

In true 80’s nostalgia fashion, I’ve been hyped about seeing this film since I’ve seen the poster. Yes, a poster sold me on the movie – just the way I grew up watching movies in the late 80’s & 90’s. Anchor Bay just announced the release date for the 80’s slasher homage, Lost After Dark.
If you thought the 80s were dead — think again! On September 1st, Anchor Bay Entertainment goes full 80s retro with Lost After Dark, a loving but harrowing homage that takes audiences back to the decade when slashers ruled the silver screen. The exciting directing debut of writer/director Ian Kessner, Lost After Dark proudly features visceral, old-school prosthetic “kills,” and pop songs pulsing to an electronic beat. So thrown on a pair of acid wash jeans and go full-on tubular with Lost After Dark! Srp is $26.99 for the Blu-ray™ and $22.98 for the DVD, with pre-book on July 31st.

Bauhaus's 'Bela Lugosi is dead' plays in a bar, when a girl meets a boy, who is so obviously a vampire. Her names is Kristen (Elise Gatien) and she posted her poems on the Net. He says he knows who she is and she sucks her blood from her finger after a paper cut. Yuk. Kristen doesn't know him and she shouldn't either, but she's 17 and can make her own decisions. Robert (Charlie Carrick) shows her his fangs and she fears she's just dreaming and will wake up in Math class. In an alley Robert reveals his fangs again and the other big ugly mug of a vampire, going by the name of Boris (Joseph D Reitman) bites her. Dean (Jensen Ackles) calls Lisa (Cindy Sampson). Six girls in seven days have all disappeared. Dean calls them cute, at least one of them. Dean: "Ice cream comes in all sorts of flavours.

Premiering tonight on Cartoon Network, Tower Prep is a new live-action, hour-long series aimed at young adults. The show follows a group of teens with special powers held at a mysterious boarding school of an undisclosed location and agenda.
If you thought your high school experience was odd, try not remembering how you got to this prep school in the first place (and in one character’s case, not even remembering anything before arriving at said school) and being faced with nameless adult authority figures. Yes, it’s just “Head Master” or “Nurse” to these kids, but this is no Xavier’s Institute for Higher Learning.
Executive producer and writer, Paul Dini (Batman: The Brave and The Bold, Star Wars: The Clone Wars), of comics and animation cred, talks about the inspiration behind the series:
“This was an idea that always intrigued me ever since I went to boarding school some years back.

This review may contain spoilers. Last week saw Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley) take the forefront in an utterly forgettable comeback tale as the character struggled to deal with his dark impulses, developing alcoholism and his growing directionless in life. "Crossfire" more than makes up for "Roulette," featuring a return to form for Oliver Queen, classic Lois (Erica Durance) wit and a bad-ass Tess (Freema Cassidy) with mad assassin skills capable of taking down a Kandorian. Plus, the mild mannered Clark Kent (Tom Welling) finally grows a pair when it comes to his love life. Keeping close to the original DC tale, Ollie encounters a young girl named Mia Dearden (Elise Gatien) who was forced onto the street following a life of abuse and extortion. Trapped under the influence of a pimp ...

We're still on the Oliver Queen express here on Smallville, as another episode focused on the development his character is up tonight. However, it looks as though Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling) are getting ready to steal the show. That's right, tonight's episode marks that defining moment that Clois fans have been waiting for all season.
On "Crossfire," Oliver (Justin Hartley) encounters a young street girl, who has an extraordinary power. Guest star Elise Gatien portrays Mia Aka Speedy, skilled in archery and the eventual prot??g?? of our Green Arrow.

Friday (October 30) means a new episode of Smallville (featuring the first kiss of two central characters!). I remember Justin Hartley when he played Fox Crane on the soap Passions. It's embarrassing, but I used to love that show. That aside, TheCW has released a promo, a synopsis and promo photos for the episode. Check them out.
Oliver Takes DC Comics’ Character Speedy Under His Wing

Lois (Erica Durance) asks Clark (Tom Welling) to help her land a job as an on-air television host, but the two are shocked when the station wants to hire them as a team.

There's no announcement yet on a UK transmission date for Season 9 of Smallville, which is already airing in the USA, but there is plenty of information leaking out on some of the new characters and storylines.
These fall into the realm of spoilers, so if you don't want to know anything about Season 9 don't say you haven't been warned and don't click to the next page.
Firstly, Green Arrow's sidekick Speedy will make an appearance in an episode called Crossfire when Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley) takes a young street girl called Mia (Elise Gatien) under his wing. There has been a female Speedy in the comic books, although the first to take that name was a youth called Roy Harper who later became Red Arrow.
Also, an episode called Disciple will feature Steve Bacic as a character called Dark Archer, who is the former mentor/tutor to the Green Arrow.

Fox might be shaking up its Friday schedule in time for November sweeps (meaning we won't be seeing any "Dollhouse" again until December), but not The CW. In fact, the network seems rather committed to keeping "Smallville" as a lead-in to reruns on Friday night that has contributed to a significant audience drop from its surprisingly strong numbers from last year. And "Smallville" hasn't forgotten it's November, at least from some possibly spoiler-filled showlines coming from The CW. On Oct. 30, Elise Gatien make a guest spot in the episode "Crossfire" as Speedy, a character Oliver (Justin Hartley) takes under his wing. Then on Nov. 6, Jor-El, played by Julian Sands, mysteriously arrives at the Kent farm searching for his son, Kal-El. You know, Tom Welling's Clark Kent. That ...

A new DC Comics character is coming to "Smallville" next week but the show chooses to promote another part of the episode which is deemed "legendary". The CW packed a preview for the October 30 episode called "Crossfire" with the Clark and Lois saga that finally extends to a kiss.
According to the synopsis, Lois asks Clark to help her land a job as an on-air television host, but the two are shocked when the station wants to hire them as a team. Executive Producer Brian Peterson made time to address the Clois dynamics with Daemon's TV explaining that Lois is still very much in love with the Red-Blue Blur although she is starting to see Clark in a different way.
He said, "...Lois's Achilles heel is that she's always had a hero complex and she always falls for the bad boy hero or the hero, but she always falls for the hero.
