He won the 2006 Antoinette Perry (Tony) Award for Best Scenic Design in a Musical for "The Drowsy Chaperone" on Broadway in New York City. He has also received three Tony nominations for best set design of a play (Radio Golf, Gem of the Ocean, Jitney).
