A GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign to support the family of late “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor earned more than $50,000 in donations in its first 24 hours. The campaign was started by Wactor’s godmother, Michaelle Kinard, after the actor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles on May 25. Wactor was 37 years old. The crowdfunding goal is set at $100,000 and has exceeded $83,900 from 800 donations and counting.

Dolly Parton is remembering her sweet and silly friend, Leslie Jordan. During the premiere of the fourth season of Call Me Kat Thursday night, the country legend appeared in a pre-recorded video to share a touching message for the late actor.
Parton started by singing a verse from “Where the Soul Never Dies,” which she dueted with Jordan on his Company’s Comin’ album in 2021.

Her career included many character actress roles. Beyond Back to the Future, she also played the realtor who sold the house in The Amityville Horror, John Malkovich’s landlady in In the Line of Fire, Gertrude Stein in The Moderns and the mother who lost her son in Fearless.

Craig Feblowitz (Los Angeles), Chris Foster (New York), Erika Karnell (New York) and Justin Noga (New York) have all been promoted to talent agents in their respective offices in NY and La. All four have been assistants with the company since the merger of Brs and The Gage Group in 2014. Feblowitz and Noga had been with Brs and Foster and Karnell with The Gage Group.

The two talent agencies are set to merge offices effective February 1 at the current Bauman Redanty & Shaul office locations in New York and Los Angeles.
