Disney+'s new movie Clouds tells the tragic and true story of Zach Sobiech (played by Fin Argus), a teenage songwriter from Stillwater, Minnesota, whose uplifting music reached global recognition while he battled a rare terminal cancer that would soon take his life.
According to SoulPancake's documentary about Zach's life called Meet Zach Sobiech: My Last Days, Zach was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer, in his hip and left leg in 2009 at age 14. In June 2012, three years after his original diagnosis, during which he underwent 10 surgeries and 20 rounds of chemotherapy, doctors discovered that Zach's cancer had spread to both of his lungs, giving him between six months to a year to live. In the midst of his pain and the anticipated grief of his departure, Zach began to write music as a way of saying goodbye to the people he loved the most, without realizing that his songs...

"So, what is it I plan to do with my one wild, and precious, life? It's really simple, actually..." Disney has debuted a second official trailer for the extra cheesy, super sappy, but still wonderfully inspirational movie Clouds, based on a true story and adapted from the book titled "Fly a Little Higher" by Laura Sobiech. A teenager named Zach is diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer and finds a way to inspire others with the little time he has left. He becomes a songwriter and uploads videos to YouTube, becoming famous for his music. Starring Fin Argus as Zach, with Madison Iseman, Sabrina Carpenter, Neve Campbell, Tom Everett Scott, Lil Rel Howery, and Dylan Everett. This is the epitome of a modern day Disney movie - it has a sweet high school romance, an inspirational story about music, and every other live-your-life trope. Here's the second official...

The Pure TV show has taken an interesting journey to Wgn America (Wgna). The first season of the TV series debut on CBC, and later on Canada's Super Channel, before streaming on Hulu in the United States. Initially, it was considered cancelled by those outlets, but then Wgna and Super Channel partnered with CBC and Hulu to produce this second season. Now that Wgna is debuting season two of Pure, how will it perform in the Nielsen ratings? Is there enough story (and ad revenue) to continue beyond this installment? Will Pure be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.

There surely has to be a better retirement funding plan for aging actors than the likes of Erik Canuel’s Undercover Grandpa, an action-comedy that, like Bad Grandpa, gives grandparents a bad name. Starring James Caan — you might remember him from movies like The Godfather, Rollerball and Misery — and such estimable supporting players as Oscar winner Lou Gossett Jr., Paul Sorvino and Jessica Walter, the film is the sort of cinematic dreck that seems to think it deserves to be graded on a curve because it’s geared toward families.

Supernatural delves into the risky area of fantasy tech crossover in this week's stylish episode...
This review contains spoilers.
10.13 Halt & Catch Fire
First of all, I do apologise for missing last week’s review; unfortunately some personal stuff cropped up and I had to forgo the opportunity of writing about how much I loved the previous episode About A Boy in any great detail. I will say a few words on it though as it was a huge amount of fun. Grown-up/tween Dean was hilarity incarnate and Dylan Everett’s performance was a great balance of mimicking Jensen Ackles and exploring what a teenage, hormonal Dean would be like. Also, kudos to Lesley Nicol, otherwise known as Downton Abbey’s Mrs Patmore, for her brief role as a vicious Gretel. It’s good to see other cast members are continuing the Downton Stabby tradition following Dan Stevens’ mad-eyed turn in The Guest.

Well, this is something I certainly can’t say too often, but Jensen Ackles is nowhere to be found in these photos from next week’s Supernatural, titled “About a Boy.” Instead, guest star Dylan Everett will be portraying Dean’s 14-year-old self, since Hansel (of Hansel and Gretel, not Owen Wilson’s character from Zoolander) transforms the older Winchester brother into a teenager in order to hand him over to the evil witch. Yes, you read that right: Hansel will be working with, not against, the evil witch—that’s quite a change from the original story. It will certainly be interesting to see how Supernatural deals with the dynamic between Sam and young Dean. We’ve seen the two brothers work together when Dean was an old man (back in in the Season 5 episode “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester”), but will Sam be willing to listen to...

Lifetime achieved the best and worst possible results with "The Unauthorized 'Saved by the Bell' Story," a TV movie that premiered last night: It wasn't exactly a cringe-inducing retelling of Dustin Diamond's memoir about his time as Screech on "Saved by the Bell," but it wasn't titillating or scandalous either. The movie had the stench of looming legal ramifications, as if the producers were terrified of Tiffani(-Amber) Thiessen and Mario Lopez arriving with defamation suits at any moment. (That makes sense considering the original memoir contains its fair share of serious accusations.) Subsequently, the only cast member with any dirt to spill was Diamond, whose woes were still pretty mundane as depicted. In other words: We weren't so excited or so scared, and we needed a few hundred caffeine pills just to stay awake during this damn movie. But we did pick up a few interesting...

On Monday, September 1, Lifetime ushered in a new generation of unauthorized biopics with its behind the scenes look at what really happened on the 1990s hit Saved by the Bell. The cast has largely disavowed themselves from the project and/or Dustin Diamond’s scandalous memoir Behind the Bell, and considering that the movie is based on that biography, it’s safe to say most of the things that happened in this movie didn’t really happen that way at all.
But still, we watch. We learn. We cringe. We tweet.
Here are 100 things that Apparently happened, if we’re...

Lifetime went behind the Bell on Monday and unveiled what (allegedly) happened behind the cameras of our favorite childhood sitcom. But instead of Zack Morris running the show, this time it was all about Screech — and the story from outcast Dustin Diamond's perspective.
The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, based on Diamond's tell-all memoir, began with the gang -- Dylan Everett as Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Sam Kindseth as Diamond, Tiera Skovbye as Elizabeth Berkley, Julian Works as Mario Lopez, Alyssa Lynch as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, and Taylor Russell McKenzie as Lark Voorhies — pulling up to their first mall tour unaware their lives were about to change.

"It was a little bit before my time. I was born in '95 and the show ended around '93." Anyone else feeling super-old after reading that quote from Dylan Everett aka Mark-Paul Gosselaar's younger self in Lifetime's TV movie The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, which exposes all of the alleged behind-the-scenes drama of the iconic '90s sitcom? Yes, we chatted with the new Zack Morris, and his costars Tiera Skovbye (playing the role of Elizabeth Berkley) and Julian Works (the new Mario Lopez) about the highly anticipated movie, based on Dustin Diamond's explosive tell-all, and after we got over the realization that we are now basically senior citizens, we got the scoop on the...

Zack Morris, A.C. Slater, Jessie Spano and Mr. Belding better listen up -- because the stars of Lifetime's new film about "Saved by the Bell" say they've got nothing but love for the classic TV show.Premiering on Labor Day, "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" dives into all the behind-the-scenes drama for the beloved sitcom, but original series stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley and Dennis Haskins have all expressed concerns about how they'll be portrayed in the flick. But they've all assumed the film is based on Dustin Diamond's book "Behind the Bell" though, which Lifetime tells us is not the case. They also say Screech is not an executive producer on the flick, despite reports suggesting otherwise -- and add that the show's original casting director, Robin Lippin, worked with them for the script. The new film's Zack and Jessie, played by Dylan Everett and Tiera Skovbye,...

Here it is, a new clip from my favorite movie I've never seen, Lifetime's "The Unauthorized 'Saved By the Bell' Story." Based on Dustin Diamond's scintillating, actually boring memoir, the movie will chronicle the backstory of our beloved Bayside. Lark Voorhies is all set to be the greatest film heroine of our time, inevitably. In this new clip, watch as Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Dylan Everett) and Dustin Diamond (Sam Kindseth) arrive on set for the first filming. The absurdity of this movie is so great, it is actually wonderful. I just shouted, "Good morning, Miss Bliss!" at the sky. The sun, which has always looked like Hayley Mills to me, winks back. The movie premieres Labor Day on Lifetime.

Put on your baggiest Hypercolor® tee, your finest high-tops and your stoniest stone-washed jeans -- it's time to return to "Saved By the Bell." Lifetime knows how much you want to watch the cable network's highly-anticipated "The Unauthorized Story Of Saved By The Bell," so they've released the first five minutes of the movie online. The clip begins at a 1990 public appearance in Cincinnati where thousands of fans clamor to catch a glimpse of the teen tube stars in a very "Hard Day's Night"-kind of way. It then transforms into what can only be described as "Screech's Goodfellas," with Sam Kindseth playing scrawny star Dustin Diamond. It flashes back to Diamond's 1988 audition and includes lots of narration, a rousing pop soundtrack (The Go-Gos, Bell Biv Devoe), restless camerawork, and Screech breaking the fourth wall in order to address the audience. Watch it here: (function(d, s, id) { var js,...

It looks like Lifetime has decided to start school a little early this year.
Before its premiere on Sept. 1, the network has released the first five minutes of the highly anticipated and already much-talked about The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story. After barely giving us a real trailer, releasing the opening sequence on Facebook is an interesting way to capture viewers’ attention. Before the full title credits roll, we meet Zach, Screech, and the whole gang in a limo en route to what appears to be their first big public appearance after the premiere of Saved by the Bell.

Hold on to your hats! It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Lifetime has posted its first trailer for “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story,” and it promises all of the ego, attitude and adolescent drama you’d want in a behind the scenes look at the making of the splashy '90s Saturday morning sitcom. Inspired by but not based on the 2009 book “Behind The Bell,” which was written by actor Dustin (Screech) Diamond, it’s unclear how far this will delve into scandal, but the memoir was apparently filled with sex and drugs, inciting the ire of some of his costars. Diamond serves as a co-producer on the film, which will star Sam Kindseth in the Diamond role, along with Dylan Everett (Mark-Paul Gosselaar / Zack), Alyssa Lynch (Tiffani Thiessen / Kelly), Julian Works (Mario Lopez / Slater), Tiera Skovbye (Elizabeth Berkley / Jessie) and Taylor Russell McKenzie...

Lifetime has released the first trailer for The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story, which gives us a look at the behind-the-scenes drama and madness that went on while the popular 1990s series was in production.
The movie was reportedly inspired by Dustin Diamond’s 2009 book Behind the Bell, which is a tell-all that claimed that when the cast wasn't shooting the show, they were getting crazy with drugs, sex, and wild parties.
It stars Dylan Everett (Mark-Paul Gosselaar / Zack Morris), Alyssa Lynch (Tiffani Thiessen / Kelly Kapowski), Julian Works (Mario Lopez / A.C. Slater), Tiera Skovbye (Elizabeth Berkley / Jessie Spano), Sam Kindseth (Dustin Diamond / Screech Powers), and Taylor Russell McKenzie (Lark Voorhies / Lisa Turtle).
The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story will air on Lifetime September 1st. This has definitely sparked my curiosity, so of course I have to watch it. This may very well be the first thing that I ever watch on Lifetime.

When you get a bunch of hormone-charged teenagers together for one of the most popular syndicated series ever, things are about to get crazy, as witnessed in a new trailer for "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story."

Gosselaar rides a motorcycle and gets threatened with grounding; Diamond punches a guy out for calling him Screech on the street.

In the sneak peek, Thiessen (Alyssa Lynch) and Voorhies (Tiera Skovbye) both seem to have a pretty big crush on Gosselaar (Dylan Everett) ... and Lopez (Julian Works) and Dustin (Sam Kindseth) look like they did not get along off-screen. Lifetime has released the first clip from their TV movie The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story. The movie gives a behind-the-scenes look at the all the drama in the series that we never saw on screen. On camera you would think that Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Dustin Diamond, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Lark Voorhies, and Elizabeth Berkley were all best buds. Apparently that wasn't the case, and off camera their relationships may have been hostile, as suggested in this first clip. I actually thought it was pretty amusing.
