The funeral of late X Factor star Kerry McGregor has taken place in Scotland. The singer lost her battle with cancer last week, aged 37. She was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2010. McGregor, who competed in the 2006 series of the ITV1 competition, was laid to rest following a private funeral service at the Kirk of Calder in Mid Calder, West Lothian. McGregor's partner Dean Robertson and her 6-year-old son Joshua led the 400 mourners. Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne, who had supported McGregor during her illness, sent a floral tribute. An attached message read: "Kerry, rest in peace, with love, Sharon Osbourne."
