- With only hours to prepare for her leading role as Sabina in Safeword, Edmonds was not handed the entire shooting script. Instead, director Chris Soth asked her about several potentially objectionable scenes. They reviewed the content of these scenes together, verbally agreeing on how these scenes would be shot. Edmonds signed on. The script then changed drastically and continually for the duration of the shoot.
