When Chris “Ct” Tamburello isn’t getting bruised and bloodied for MTV’s The Challenge, he’s doing so while filming movies.
The five-time Challenge winner has been involved in acting for quite a while away from the show and landed a role in a prominent upcoming movie.
Taking to his Instagram, Ct shared a photo with other people involved in filming a big scene for the 2024 movie Road House.
The film, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, is a remake of the 1989 movie which starred Patrick Swayze.
Ct is part of a bar fight scene featuring mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor and others. Based on Ct’s caption, McGregor jumped in the photo with everyone. His face is visible in the very middle of the group.
“Last night of the bar fight scene. This is the whole fight crew. Lots of bruises and blood shed here. Thanks to @thenotoriousmma for jumping...

While drama is seemingly encouraged in MTV’s The Challenge, fighting and bullying aren’t. Since its inception in 1998, 20 players have gotten kicked off the long-running competition series for breaking the rules, with only one contestant removed from multiple seasons.
Ayanna Mackins
The Road Rules star debuted in season 4’s Extreme Challenge (2001). Around episode 6, she physically assaulted Christian Breivik off-camera after he made an offensive joke to castmate Laterrian Wallace. Even though he didn’t want her to leave, producers removed her from the house, making her the first contestant disqualified for breaking the rules. She returned for two more seasons and recently returned to the franchise for spinoff All Stars.
Tina Barta
The two-time finalist was quickly removed from season 13’s The Duel (2006) after punching Beth Stolarczyk in the face. She never returned to the flagship series afterward but has competed in All Stars.
Sorry, angry Tina can't come...

Diem Brown's MTV family is still in mourning. The reality TV star clearly left an impact on everyone who competed against her on "The Challenge," with the network airing an hour-long special Tuesday night titled "We Heart Diem."Now, one of her former costars just released a new song in her honor.Davis Mallory, who was on "The Duel II" with Diem and shared a special connection with her off-screen, just posted a track called "Beautiful Girls (Diem's Song)" online."We hit it off pretty fast," Mallory tells toofab. "My mother's childhood friend has a daughter in Diem's sorority at Fsu who introduced us over e-mail prior to filming the 'Real World/Road Rules Challenge.' The Real World is donning flannel and boots for its upcoming Portland season, but to gear up for that premiere on March 27, I thought we'd take a look back at the show's cast members who were damn good at wearing not-so-many clothes. Here they are, the 11 hottest male cast members in Real World history. (You'll be happy to know the gays took over the list; I wasn't even forcing it!)
11. Eric Nies (New York)
(Source)
Eric Nies introduced us to Real World hotness on the first season of the show, and he'd continue his hot streak with The Grind, where Queen Latifah once asked him how much he was paid to show off his nipples. The answer? Never enough, Dana.
10. Davis Mallory (Denver)
(Source)
Denver! That was a caustic cast. Oh, Brooke! You have almost certainly killed someone before. Tyrie! You're diagnosable. And Davis! You are gay and good-looking and...

For the last two-odd months, I've been most excited about Sunday night television because "Game of Thrones" is the fucking bee's knees. I suspect many of you were similarly excited for Sundays. But now that GoT is gone for too long, what night are we to be excited for? What night will step up and fill the void? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Wednesday nights, for MTV's "The Challenge" is back and I simply cannot deny my excitement for the return of my guiltiest of guilty pleasures.
In a piece of legitimately good news, T.J. Lavin is returning as the host (for his eleventh go at it). This isn't good new because he's a good host -- while he's gotten somewhat better over the years/seasons, he's still really stiff and has only managed to show the thinnest amount of personality. But last October, he had a heinous injury...

The A-List: New York's Reichen Lehmkuhl
In our parent company Logo's new reality show The A-List: New York, a “docu-soap” about the lives and loves of six social-climbing gay men, there’s a scene where Reichen Lehmkuhl is about to have sex with his boyfriend in a hot tub.
“Oops,” says the boyfriend, Brazilian model Rodiney Santiago, as he slips his swimsuit off.
But just as things are really steaming up, Reichen’s cellphone rings. When he climbs out of the tub to answer it, it turns out it’s Austin Armacost, one of the other A-List-ers – the guy that the show has clearly telegraphed is going to try to come between Reichen and Rodiney over the course of the season.
Austin tells Reichen he wants them to go out to dinner, even as Rodiney sits stewing in the hot tub.

The most noteworthy thing about having a gay man on MTV’s The Real World is that it is no longer the least bit newsworthy. In fact, it hasn’t been for quite some time as three of the last five seasons have included a gay man (as well as bisexual women, lesbians and the show’s first transgendered housemate last season).
You can add The Real World: Cancun to that list of gay-inclusive seasons as last night’s premiere introduced viewers to twenty-one-year old Derek Chavez from Loving, New Mexico.
After graduating as valedictorian from his high school, Derek headed to Phoenix to earn a degree in Kinesiology (the science of human movement) with the ultimate goal of becoming a physician’s assistant. While Derek is currently single and happy about it, he did date a couple of guys during his time in Mexico. Then there was that...

Q: I am obsessed with Davis Mallory from The Real World: Denver. In the newest Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel 2, Davis and Ryan Kehoe hit it off in the first episode. I was wondering if they are still a couple after the show finished production. Also what happened to P.J. who was Davis's boyfriend on The Real World: Denver? They were so cute together! – Mitchell, Detroit, Michigan
Davis Mallory
A: “Ryan and I weren't a couple on the Duel, nor have we ever been,” Davis tells AfterElton.com “We just made out the first night of taping. While the number of gay/bisexual characters on scripted television has, at best, held steady over the past decade (and doesn’t exactly represent the diversity of gay men in the real world), it’s a different story when it comes to the depiction of gay men on reality television. Indeed, along with the explosion of reality programming has come a dramatic increase in the numbers and types of gay and bisexual men appearing on our television screens.
From the groundbreaking appearance of Pedro Zamora on The Real World: San Francisco to the current seasons of The Amazing Race, Survivor: Tocantins, and Make Me a Supermodel, there is a breadth of gay men that is quite frankly astounding.
In fact, there have now been so many gay and bisexual men on reality television that we decided to let AfterElton.com readers choose their favorites of all time. Here...
