Have you ever wanted to dance to “U Can’t Touch This,” “Baby Got Back,” “Bust a Move,” Just a Friend,” “Funky Cold Medina” and “Me So Horny” all in one evening? Have you ever wanted to step into an amphitheater and spend the night bathing in other R&B and hip-hop hits of the George H.W. Bush administration performed by the original artists? Have you ever wondered what kind of show the Funky Bunch can put together without Mark “Marky Mark” Wahlberg?

Jennifer Hudson‘s split from David Otunga—her romantic partner of 10 years—has fans reeling, and her protective order against the father of her 8-year-old son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., has many wondering what went wrong in their seemingly happy and stable relationship.
Despite Hudson’s legal steps, which her representative told People were “taken in the best interest of their son,” Otunga’s attorney released a statement insisting his client “has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son, and it is unfortunate, especially in today’s climate, that she would feel the need to make these false allegations against him.

It was more of the same but with a little bit more where it counted for several originals on the Big 4 last night as NBC and Fox finished in a dead heat in the key demo. With a 1.2/5 each among adults 18-49, the both nets saw a pretty good Wednesday amid the last days of summer. Part of that for Fox was that things heated up on MasterChef with its Mexican Tag Team Challenge and more. The Gordon Ramsay-hosted cooking competition series saw double-digit demo rises for both…...

The top nine are really bringing the heat into and outside of the MasterChef kitchen in season 8. In "A Mexican Tag Team Challenge," eight of the contestants are paired up for an elimination challenge which has some frustrated. While during "The Great Outdoors," brings the chefs outside for some old-fashioned, elevated, campground cooking.

Even if you know nothing about boxing, you’ve surely heard by now that there’s a high-profile fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor tonight. The bout is unusual in that McGregor isn’t, strictly speaking, a boxer — the swaggering Irishman is an Mma fighter and the current Ufc Lightweight Champion — as well as the fact that it’s expected to be among the biggest pay-per-view events of all time.

Hilary Swank showed off her workout moves in a recent Instagram post.
Swank posted a video of herself in a gym lifting low-weighted barbels on Saturday. Wearing gym shorts, a black tank-top and Nike sneakers, the actress propped her back against an exercise ball and worked her arms to the Tag Team song, “Whoop There it Is.”
“Whoomp there it is! #Focused #FitnessFriday #MakeAChoice#MakeItHappen#WhatsYourMissionStatement.”
The 42-year-old actress is no stranger to the gym. During her three months of intense training for Million Dollar Baby, the actress reportedly gained 19 lbs. of muscle.

Whoomp there it is was one of the absolute favorite songs of cheerleaders and jocks alike because it had a power all its own that made you move and got the adrenaline pumping in such a way that you just wanted to stay active for the entire track. Tag Team was featured in so many films and TV shows that eventually the song did wear a little thin but not so much that it was hated for any period of time. Every now and then it comes back and it’s welcomed with open arms to those that hear it. Here

2K Games has just revealed the Superstar who will grace the cover of WWE 2K18 with an epic reveal trailer, entitled "Be Like No One". Watch it below and find out what's in store!
It happens for sports. It happens for sports entertainment, as well. 2K Games has announced that their annual WWE 2K game will release later this year with a brand new cover athlete (Superstar), for WWE 2K18. The identity of that cover man was revealed with a pretty cool trailer, "Be Like No One".
Seth Rollins, a.k.a. "The Architect" a.k.a. "The Kingslayer", will be the man when WWE 2K18 releases on October 17. Nxt: Takeover: Chicago will air this Saturday on the WWE Network for the first time outside of their quarterly, big four schedule. (The big four I reference of course being the WWE events Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series.) Taking place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, the show features the best and brightest of the WWE Nxt brand. Since the Nxt brand has consistently put on some of the best shows of the year for the WWE, I thought we'd take a few minutes to go through the card for the show while I offer some predictions on who may win.
Roderick Strong vs Eric Young

WWE wrestler Matt Anoa’i — known in-ring as Rosey — has died. He was 47. Rosey is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika and older brother of current WWE Superstar Roman Reigns. He debuted in 2002 alongside his cousin Jamal as part of 3-Minute Warning. Anoa’i later formed a superhero duo with The Hurricane, which culminated in his first World Tag Team Championship reign. The Anoa’i family tree is chock-full of pro wrestling talent — cousins include Rikishi, Umaga, Yokozuna, and the Usos. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson even fits in there somehow. It’s time once more for Wrestlemania the biggest professional wrestling and sports entertainment event for fans and performers that there is. This year the event is held in Orlando, the home of Nxt – where a lot of the current roster of superstars got their start -and as usual (at least on paper) the card doesn’t seem that great. But that’s the thing with the WWE’s biggest pay per view, there’s always surprises: especially when it comes to Wrestlemania moments….
We’ve already covered the kick-off pre-show, so onto the main event, hosted by The New Day, who kick off proceedings with a typical New Day promo – only this time they’re dressed like Final Fantasy characters (gotta get that video game sponsorship money right?) Though you have to give it to Big E for the double-entendre, hacker-centric joke about “pulling levers” then staring at Xavier Woods!

Wrestlemania is upon us today and the WWE loves to go all out with surprises for their audience. Last night at Nxt: Takeover Orlando for example, fans were shocked to see Drew McIntyre make his return to the WWE after a long stay at Impact Wrestling. Drew was the first member of the Impact Wrestling roster that left the company after Anthem purchased that company. Soon to follow were Matt and Jeff Hardy. The Hardy's made their way to Ring of Honor for what has ended up being a short stay. Last night at Supercard of Honor, the Hardy's faced off against The Young Bucks and lost the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships to them in an amazing ladder match. People have speculated that the Hardy's stay in Ring of Honor would be a short one.
If the tweet above is to be believed, that appears to be the case.

The WWE is ramping up promotion for their biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania. With that, they are using all the tools they have at their disposal to get the word out. One avenue has been Twitter, where the company has tweeted numerous Wrestlemania moments from the past 32 shows.
One tweet in particular has gotten the attention of fans. Showing a clip of Matt Hardy facing off against Jeff Hardy at Wrestlemania 25, the WWE had this to say.
Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently the Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions after spending years in Impact Wrestling. During the last year of Dixie Carter's ownership of the company, the only major story that intrigued viewers was the character of "Broken" Matt Hardy and his battles with his brother Jeff, who he called Brother Nero. Well the road to Wrestlemania continues for the WWE with the Raw-exclusive pay-per-view Fastlane, one of the companies lesser PPV’s… For most fans this is just the WWE spinning it’s wheels while waiting for the biggest event in the wrestling calendar.
Taking place at the Bmo Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Fastlane opens with a video package showing all the big matches: Owens vs Goldberg, Bayley vs Charlotte, and Reigns vs Strowman. So we know right there that the only titles possibly changing hands in this event will be either the Womens Title or Universal Championship – Gallows and Anderson surely to retain given the non-focus on their match.
As always Spoilers if you haven’t seen the PPV yet…
Opening Fastlane is Samoa Joe vs Sami Zayn in a match that is sure to Not live up to the fantastic Nxt rivalry the pair had prior to their subsequent call-ups.

Monday Night Raw is in the books for another week. Raw is building towards Fastlane, the last stop in the road before Wrestlemania. How did the show fare?
Roman Reigns faced off against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a handicap match. You would think that the WWE Tag Team Champions would find a way to finish off Roman Reigns easily and in quick order yet they ended up winning the match by Dq after Roman took a chair from Luke Gallows and hit him with it. Why have Anderson and Gallows be your Tag Team Champions and yet go out of your way to make them look weak? I get that not everyone is going to win each and every week but you would think that during a handicap match of all things, the Tag Team Champs would find a way to easily handle one person. January 24th, 1988 was a great day in wrestling history. On that date, live on the USA Network, the WWE held their first ever Royal Rumble. In classic Vince McMahon fashion, holding this event for free on cable was a way to keep folks from ordering the Bunkhouse Stampede pay per view Jim Crockett Promotions put out that same day. The Royal Rumble match itself was revolutionary. Starting with two performers in the ring, at regularly timed intervals, another performer would come out until, in the case of the 1988 Royal Rumble, all twenty participants were in the ring. The winner of that first Rumble was Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Fast forward 29 years and here we are at the 30th Royal Rumble. Unlike the Rumble’s that have occurred the past five years, the WWE has done an amazing job of promoting this event. They have some great matches in store as well...

Prior to the event, during the TakeOver kick-off show, we found out the results of the Nxt Awards, and so I figured I’d begin this article with the results of them.
Match of the Year: Diy vs. The Revival (2 out of 3 Falls/TakeOver Toronto)
Breakout Star of the Year: Peyton Royce & Billie Kay
Tag Team of the Year: The Revival
Woman of the Year: Asuka
Male of the Year: Shinsuke Nakamura
Nxt Superstar of the Year: Shinsuke Nakamura
Nxt Takeover events have been a high quality time and time again in the last few years, and with Nxt currently going through a “rebuilding” stage on its roster, with new talents coming in and well-known ones gone to the main roster, its an interesting time. Nxt Takeover: San Antonio is live tonight on the WWE Network. Takeover, for the casual fan that may not know, is the quarterly event that the Nxt brand holds. It’s their pay per view level event. Some of the best matches the WWE put on last year were at Takeover events, such as Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sami Zayn at Takeover: Dallas and The Revival vs #Diy at Takeover: Toronto. The level of talent at Nxt meets and in some cases exceeds the talent on the main roster so if you’re a fan of good, entertaining matches, this show will be a can’t miss show. Presented for your approval is a preview of the show and my predictions for who comes out victorious.
Roderick Strong vs Cien Andrade Almas
Fans of Ring of Honor will be the first to tell you that Roderick Strong is an amazing talent in the ring.

Smackdown Live! is over for the week. The Blue Brand of the WWE builds it’s roster towards the Royal Rumble. On this episode, we had John Cena face off against Baron Corbin as well as a Tag Team Championship Match between American Alpha facing off against The Wyatt Family. To top things off, we had an encounter between Dean Ambrose and The Miz. How did this week’s show fare?
I have to say, the tag team match was a bit of a disappointment. We had American Alpha in their first real test as Smackdown Tag Team Champions against The Wyatt Family and for the most part, the champs were an afterthought in the match. I get why that was. They wanted to focus on the tensions between Luke Harper and Randy Orton. Yet in doing so, they sacrificed a chance to make the new Champions look like they deserve the titles.

Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns has been in a tough spot for a while now. It’s clear based on how he’s been booked the past couple years that the WWE see money in his future. They want him to be the next big attraction. Yet the audience had not taken the bait, more often than not booing him out of the building. He’s not a bad performer at all in my opinion. I have just finished watching the most insanely beautiful two hours of television I think I will ever see. From Total Nonstop Action, Impact Wrestling presents Total Nonstop Deletion!
The wrestling industry is filled with stories of organizations who, when their backs were against the wall, thought of the craziest things they could imagine in the hopes of bringing back their audience. During 1996 to 1997, the WWE was trailing their competitor WCW in the ratings, almost getting to the point where the company went bankrupt. Yet after changing the tone of the show from a family friendly enterprise to cutting edge, adult material, they were able to quickly close the gap and eventually win what was called the Monday Night War.

Nxt: Takeover Toronto occurred Saturday night and man, what a show it was. Nxt on the WWE Network is one of the best wrestling shows out there and for good reason. Too often in wrestling today, companies want to over complicate things with over dramatic storylines that border, and often fall, into ludicrousness. Nxt strips back some of the nonsense that has become commonplace in wrestling today and brings it back to basics.
Match #1-Bobby Roode vs Tye Dillinger
Before the match even starts, we get Booby Roode’s entrance and man was it a trip. A choir is on stage singing his theme song. Was it silly? Yes. But it also played into the over confidence his character has. A perfect meld of song and performer.
Tye Dillinger comes out and his outfit made him look like an extra from the movie Barbarella. The jury is still out on his character.

1.Cm Punk lost his match against Mickey Gall at Ufc 203 this past week. While the outcome was pretty much expected by just about everyone, I have to give the guy credit. He had a dream he wanted to realize and despite the list of injuries he’s obtained through the years in the wrestling ring as well as being in his late thirties, an older age to start competing in combat sports like Mma, he fulfilled his dream. Not many people can say they did that especially with such odds stacked against them. With that being said, folks had some fun after the match creating some meme’s. While some weren’t in the best of taste, there was a funny one. I’ll leave that here.

The MasterChef kitchen seemed to heat up in more ways than one in this double episode. In "Tag Team," David lets his temper get the best of him during the elimination challenge while Nathan gets overwhelmed while cooking with Shaun. In "Pop-Up Restaurant," the remaining six get overwhelmed in the restaurant kitchen, but do manage to pull it together. But which team heads into possibly one of the toughest pressure tests yet?...

Legendary WWE wrestler and manager Harry Fujiwara, known in the squared circle as Mr. Fuji, passed away on Sunday. He was 82. Fujiwara was one of WWE’s great villains. During his 30-year career, he was a five-time World Tag Team Champion and later a manager to such well-known pro grapplers as George “The Animal” Steele, Demolition and “Magnificent” Don Muraco. Typically donning a tuxedo and bowler hat during his managerial days, he looked like another famous bad guy - Oddjob from the James Bond film Goldfinger. Paul Levesque (a.k.a. "Triple H") mourned Fujiwara on Twitter as he wrote, “An unforgettable character in front of the camera and an even better one behind it. Rest in Peace, Mr. Fuji.” Fujiwara retired from the WWE in 1996 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. In a remembrance of Fujiwara, the WWE posted their introductory video for his HoF induction on Twitter.

Among his superstar clients were George “The Animal” Steele, Kamala, Killer Khan, Demolition, The Powers of Pain, Yokozuna and most notably, “Magnificent” Don Muraco.

Late last year, developer MidBoss announced that they would be bringing their debut effort Read Only Memories to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2016. After months of waiting, the studio finally revealed that their cyberpunk adventure will launch on Sony consoles on August 16.
Newly rechristened as 2064: Read Only Memories, the title transports players to Neo-San Francisco, 2064 A.D. You play as a struggling journalist whose life is interrupted by the arrival of a Rom (Relationship and Organizational Manager) named Turing. Soon enough, the two of you are thrown into a deep mystery that begins as a missing persons case, but develops into something much more complicated.
Back when the title was originally released on PC, there was no voice acting for any of the numerous denizens of Neo-San Francisco. MidBoss was able to make due with enthralling written text and animation. For this pseudo-Director’s Cut edition of Read Only Memories,...

Another year, another WrestleMania, and once again the WWE have put together their undeniably impressive Showcase of the Immortals, this year in Dallas, Texas.
Kicking off, as it did last year, with a seven man ladder match for the Intercontinental Title, Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Sami Zayn, Stardust, Sin Cara and Zack Ryder put on a great match, delivering plenty of bumps and really setting the seeds for the ongoing Owens / Zayn feud now that both men are established on the main roster.
Next up was Aj Styles’s Mania debut against Chris Jericho, with both men giving their all but not quite creating the synergy that might be expected from two top performers. That said, Styles was impressive and will surely be a lot higher up the bill for Wm Xxxiii next year.
The ever popular New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods) took on the League of Nations (Sheamus,...

WWE’s annual Extreme Rules PPV always finds itself full of gimmick matches such as table matches, ladder matches, street fights and things of that nature, so it’s no surprise that the 2016 version of Extreme Rules is also full of these types of matches. Sometimes it can result in overkill, other times it can result in an entertaining event. Let’s hope this event ticks the entertaining option.

So, the post-WrestleMania PPV, Payback, has happened (over a week ago now) and it was a night of good, bad and in-between but it was fresh and had a feel of something new, like WWE are making an effort to build new stars (finally).
Results: Kick-Off Show: Kalisto retained his Us Title against Ryback Kick-Off Show: Dolph Ziggler beat Baron Corbin The Vaudevillains and Enzo & Big Cass went to a no-contest Kevin Owens pinned Sami Zayn The Miz beat Cesaro to retain his I-c Title Dean Ambrose beat Chris Jericho Charlotte retained her Women’s Title against Natalya via ref stoppage Roman Reigns successfully defended his World Title against Aj Styles
The PPV started with the Kick-Off show. The Corbin/Ziggler match felt like a typical television match and featured Ziggler bumping around for Corbin. Strangely, Ziggs won the match. The other Kick-Off match was much better than expected.

The first Raw of the "New Era" began with a Stephanie McMahon promo and featured a feud built around the destruction of a potted plant (R.I.P., Mitch). In other words, we aren't exactly witnessing a wrestling revolution here.
And yet, coming off of Payback, a PPV that featured very little in the way of retribution (but plenty of interesting developments), last night's show still managed to rise above all the prefab talk of changing the game – and set the table for a series of compelling matches at Extreme Rules,...

We are quickly approaching WWE Payback, and this week will be the “final sell” before the PPV. Let’s see what WWE can offer to get us to watch their annual May event.
Raw (25th April 2016) Results: Aj Styles pinned Sheamus Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows beat The Uso’s in their Raw debut Sami Zayn beat Rusev Apollo Crews defeated Stardust Natalya beat Emma Baron Corbin and Damien Sandow went to a no-contest Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio
After some solid shows recently, Raw seems to be in a transitional stage, like something bigger is planned and they are waiting it out. This episode of Raw wasn’t as solid in the ring compared to some recent episodes, and the promos didn’t really make any real explosions to sell Payback, but there is enough going on to make things interesting as we head into the PPV on Sunday.

It’s been nearly two years since Cody Rhodes first adopted the persona of Stardust – a bizarre, bodysuit-wearing takeoff on his older brother’s ultra-successful “Goldust” persona – and the gimmick may be drawing to a end.
According to the former WWE Tag Team Champion himself at WrestleMania Axxess, if he doesn’t win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, Stardust will be gone and Cody may have to return.
Since his debut on WWE TV nearly a decade ago, Cody Rhodes has gone through a plethora of different personas. First debuting as a grateful second-generation star, Rhodes soon turned his back on his family to join Randy Orton’s Legacy stable. When the group disbanded, the “Dashing” star started offering personal grooming tips, but an injury suffered at the hands of Rey Mysterio forced him to wear a facial mask a la The Phantom of the Opera.

PWInsider is reporting that after months of competing on the Nxt brand, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have finally been signed to full-time WWE contracts.
Gargano and Ciampa are two of the most respected talents on the U.S. independent scene. Gargano, who’s earned the nickname “Johnny Wrestling,” dominated Dragon Gate USA for years as the Open the Freedom Gate Champion, while Ciampa held the Ring of Honor TV Title before losing it to record-setting champion Jay Lethal.
Gargano and Ciampa first debuted in Nxt last summer, working as a team in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Despite not being signed to contracts, they upset Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey in the tournament’s first round, but they were defeated in the second by Baron Corbin and Rhyno.
Since the tournament, both men have continued to make appearances on Nxt TV, usually in singles competition. Ciampa...

Just 13 days after Tna announced Bobby Roode would be leaving the company after 12 years of service, the two-time Tna World Heavyweight Champion and eight-time World Tag Team Champion was sighted at Nxt TakeOver: Dallas.
Highlighted by WWE’s camera crew and social media team during the live event, Roode looks destined to become the latest Tna stalwart to have found a new home in WWE over the past year.

During yesterday’s Nxt conference call, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events, and Creative Triple H announced the first seven men confirmed to compete in the 32-man Global Cruiserweight Series this summer.
The men represent Nxt, U.S. independent wrestling, and the pro scene from around the world:
Rich Swann – The 25-year-old Swann signed with WWE last year and has since made a pair of appearances on Nxt TV. Prior to joining Nxt, the high-flyer competed for Evolve, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Full Impact Pro, and Japan’s Dragon Gate promotion.
Johnny Gargano – “Johnny Wrestling” has already made several appearances with Nxt, but he’s continued to dominate the indies in the meantime. Along with former WWE star Drew Galloway, Gargano holds the Evolve Tag Team Championship.

With only two days to go until Nxt TakeOver: Dallas, the brand pulled out all of the stops when it came to promoting what may be its most highly-anticipated show ever. And while the in-ring action was mostly confined to squash matches (there’s probably not a fan who saw the show and couldn’t predict the winner of every single bout), it’s okay – TV is supposed to serve the paid product. That’s a lesson WWE’s main roster’s creative team would do well to learn.
There are six huge matches scheduled for TakeOver: Dallas – Nxt Champion Finn Balor versus Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura versus Sami Zayn, Nxt Women’s Champion Bayley versus Asuka, Nxt Tag Team Champions The Revival versus American Alpha, Apollo Crews versus Elias Samson, and Baron Corbin versus Austin Aries. In the course of a 55-minute show, Nxt managed to hype each bout on the special.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon announced that Kevin Owens would defend the Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Stardust, Sin Cara, and Zack Ryder in a ladder match. This would mark the 11th time in WrestleMania history that a ladder match will take place. The previous ten ladder matches, ranging all the way back to WrestleMania X, have provided some of the most memorable moments in the history of the ‘Granddaddy of Them All’.
Whether they be for the Intercontinental Championship, the Tag Team Championship, or the Money in the Bank briefcase, the ladder match has always stole the show at WrestleMania. The high spots have always sent the crowd into a frenzy, and set the tone for the rest of the night. In addition, these matches have made the careers of future hall of famers like Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Edge, and others.
