Keltie Knight is a long-time entertainment correspondent on The Insider and Entertainment Tonight. Now, she's using her relationships with celebrities and creating and hosting a new show, Superfan.
Superfan is a musical game show where avid fans compete in multiple rounds to show their musical artist's number one fan. Each episode features a different musical artist with a different prize.
TV Fanatic interviewed Keltie about the show's format, the one-of-a-kind prizes, and why this series is so appealing. Check it out below:
Hi Keltie. I know you've been working on Superfan for years. Why was this show so important to you, and why do you think now was the ideal time to air it?
I have always loved music. Like everybody else, since I was a kid, I wanted more music on TV. I'm a child of the '80s and grew up in the '90s in the heyday of MTV.

The new Superfan series on CBS would appear to be a good candidate, but will the ratings for these six episodes be good enough to justify a second season order? Or will Superfan be cancelled? Stay tuned.

CBS is cautiously approaching its summer schedule, with later-than-usual premieres for its returning reality hits.
The network has not disclosed a reason for the late premieres, but it's likely a result of the Hollywood Writers strike.
The chances of any of the network's scripted series returning in September are slim due to the strike showing no signs of resolution.
As a result, CBS' summer slate will get underway Friday, July 28, with the return of Secret Celebrity Renovation.
Big Brother Season 25 follows on Wednesday, August 2, and will air three days per week.
The Challenge: USA Season 2 is getting an accelerated rollout strategy, with two episodes a week for the first three weeks.
The spinoff of the MTV hit premieres on August 10.
CBS revealed some details for the premieres.

Despite decreasing awards viewership across the board, ABC saw a hit in its numbers for Wednesday night’s broadcast of the 2022 Country Music Association Awards.
The network’s live broadcast was up around 10 in viewing figures from the year prior (averaging 7.6 million viewers compared to last year’s 6.8). That watching increase follows 2021’s 3.5 dip, which was readily recovered. Additionally, the special held steady in the advertising-friendly demo of 18-49 year olds, per official Nielsen figures of live plus same-day data, scoring 1.1 in the demo, same as last year.
Per the network, the 56th Annual CMA Awards ranked over its next competitor by 23 in total viewers (7.6 million vs. 6.2 million for NBC’s “Chicago Fire”) and by 43 among the demo (1.0/10 vs. 0.7/6 for CBS’ “Survivor”). The broadcast also hit a three-year high in viewership since 2019. In live stream minutes watched, the ceremony also posted a growth of 10, from 3 million minutes to 3.3 million.

For most actors, coming off a hit television show means you’re immediately searching for the next hit series to be on. But for Becca Tobin, the end of “Glee” marked the beginning of her podcasting career – and she says there was definitely a “stigma” surrounding her choice.
As part of this year’s TheGrill conference hosted by TheWrap, Tobin joined others in the industry to discuss how podcasts have quickly become Hollywood’s new goldmine. Tobin has hosted “The LadyGang Podcast” alongside Jac Vanek and Keltie Knight since 2015, the same year “Glee” wrapped on Fox.
