Netflix has debuted the trailer for the series based on the best-selling book series By Holly Smale, ‘Geek Girl’.
The show tells the story of awkward teenager Harriet Manners whose life is turned upside down when she is spotted to be a model and embarks on a life-affirming journey of self-discovery as she balances high school and high fashion.
The coming-of-age series follows sixteen-year-old Harriet Manners, who has spent her life trying to be invisible, to blend in seamlessly, but there’s no denying, she’s a geek. Her whole world changes after she catches the eye of a modelling agent while on a school trip to London Fashion Week. Tightly wound agents, reclusive designers, impossibly high heels, and a handsome young supermodel with a great smile — socially awkward Harriet has no idea what she’s in for.

Starfield is the latest RPG by Bethesda, and while the game lets players explore the vastness of space, Starfield also sticks close to Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls and Fallout roots. No, we don’t just mean that once again you can let the world’s most annoying Npc follow you around.
As with other Bethesda RPGs, Starfield is full of factions players can interact with. Technically speaking, the main character starts as a member of the mining company Argos Extractors, but that’s more of a flavor group to help players learn the ropes. As players explore the worlds of Starfield, they will encounter many groups, such as Spacers and House Va’ruun, but nobody can really join them per se. Only five major factions are looking for recruits: Constellation, the Crimson Fleet, the Freestar Collective, Ryujin Industries, and the United Colonies. Here’s how you join each one.
Starfield: Can You Join Every Faction?...

The home invasion thriller Torment is making its way to VOD on June 10th from Phase 4 Films. This is the film, starring Kathrine Isabelle, that I discussed a bit about last November on Killer Pov right here. Directed by Jordan Barker (The Marsh, My Brother’s Keeper), and co-starring Robin Dunne and Stephen McHattie, the film concerns newlyweds Cory and Sarah Morgan take Cory’s 7-year old son Liam up to the country to their remote cabin for a quiet getaway and some much needed family time.

There’s always one film at any Frightfest that feels as formulaic and cliched as your typical Hollywood horror. In the case of this years Glasgow Frightfest it was Torment. A home invasion horror that sees newlyweds Cory and Sarah Morgan head to the country for some much-needed family time where they hope Liam, Cory’s struggling 7-year-old son from his previous marriage, will learn to accept his stepmother. But arriving at their home they discover someone has been living there while they were away. After speaking with the Sheriff they assume the intruders have moved on, however when Liam disappears they discover just how wrong they were. For they must confront a deranged family of killers who have been hiding in the house all along and are now...

With Jordan Barker’s psychological horror feature Torment set for its world premiere on Friday, October 11, at 7:30pm at the celebrated Screamfest La, read on for our exclusive chat with the director and his star, Katharine Isabelle (American Mary), along with some stills!
Produced by Barker, Borga Dorter and Allan Fung from a script by Michael Foster and Thomas Pound, Torment stars Isabelle, Robin Dunne (of the television series "Sanctuary") and Stephen McHattie (300). The story revolves around newlyweds Cory (Dunne) and Sarah Morgan (Isabelle), who take Cory's seven-year-old son, Liam, to their country home for some much needed family time. When it appears as if Liam has run away, psychological suspense becomes straight-out horror, as Sarah and Cory must now confront a sadistic, cult-like family who have been hiding in the house all along and have taken Liam for themselves.
