Grandave Intl. has acquired worldwide sales rights for the drama mystery feature “Wild Berries,” starring Shahab Hosseini, best actor award winner at Cannes for “The Salesman,” and Sepideh Moafi, whose credits include “The Killing of Two Lovers” and “The L Word: Generation Q.”
In addition to his Cannes award, Hosseini received the Berlinale acting prize for his role in “A Separation.” Moafi stars in the Golden Globe nominated Apple TV+ series “Black Bird,” and the FX series “Class of 09.”
Grandave Intl. will be introducing “Wild Berries” to buyers at the Cannes Film Market, May 16-27.
The past, present, and future collide in this story of an immigrant Iranian couple’s annual road trip on their wedding anniversary, while a mysterious stranger is following them.

Ash and Bone is directed by Harley Wallen, written by Bret Miller and stars Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Deja vu), Angelina Danielle Cama (An Intrusion), Harley Wallen (Tale of Tails), Kaiti Wallen (Agramon’s Gate), Erika Hoveland (Before I Wake), Jimmy Doom (Kill the Irishman) and Mel Novak (Bruce Lee’s Game of Death).

Amazon Prime Video has acquired the North American and Latin American rights to Anthony Nardolillo’s “7th & Union,” starring Mexican actor/comedian Omar Chaparro. Grandave Intl. is handling world sales, and will be presenting the movie to buyers at the virtual European Film Market.

The Traveling Picture Show Company (Tpsc) has acquired the rights to two series from best-selling author Kennedy Ryan.
The company will develop “Hoops” and “All the King’s Men,” totaling six books, into two limited series for television. Kevin Matusow, Carissa Buffel, Luisa Iskin and Johnny Wunder of Tpsc are producing with executive producer Sadia Ashraf under her Rising Tides banner.
The “All the King’s Men” series, which includes the books “The Kingmaker,” “The Rebel King” and “Queen Move,” follows two best friends who dedicate their lives to electing leaders who will champion the causes they are committed to.
