One film that's been circling our radar for a while now is Gregory Caiafa's indie effort Intruder. To rank up there with the slasher elite, you really have to be a cut above the rest, and this one seems to be stacking up quite nicely.

The superior stalker picture Midnight Movie is coming to Blu-ray next Tuesday, October 13 from the new Phase 4 distribution company, and we got ahold of an exclusive clip and the trailer to whet your appetite. You can see them both below, along with the disc contents.

Indie director Gregory Caiafa got in touch to let us know about Intruder, the premiere production from his Red Circle Movies outfit, and pass on a few exclusive images. Described by Caiafa as “a dark character study and homage to ’80s slasher films,” the movie shot last October in Copake, NY, with pick-ups completed this past July.
“Intruder was made with a little money and a lot of love, not to mention some solid collaborators,” Caiafa tells Fango, before offering the following synopsis: “October 31 is the scariest night of the year for everyone in Hobb’s Ferry…except Lila. For her, each day is just a little more frightening than the day prior. Lila is a paranoid schizophrenic, and after a year in a mental hospital, her boyfriend has taken her to his quiet family estate to spend the darkest holiday.
