Hideo Kojima is making headlines again with the new documentary, Connecting Worlds, which is directed by Glen Milner. The film discusses the creation of Death Stranding, and showcases several people who have worked with Kojima, including Hollywood star Léa Seydoux.
Seydoux was interviewed for the documentary, and many believe Kojima was the only person capable of bringing such a talented actress into the world of video games. This star who has a vital role in Death Stranding, will continue her work in the sequel, along side Norman Reedus.

Game designer Hideo Kojima, creator of the hugely popular “Death Stranding,” had two pieces of news coming out of the Game Awards 2023.
On Thursday evening at the Game Awards show in L.A., Kojima appeared on stage with filmmaker Jordan Peele to announce his next game project: “Od,” which Kojima describes as an “immersive and totally new style of game” that will explore “what it means to Od on fear.” It’s being produced in partnership with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios.
In addition, Kojima announced that his documentary film “Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds” — which follows his journey to form an independent games studio and his creative process behind “Death Stranding” — will be distributed worldwide in the spring of 2024 exclusively on Disney+.
Peele, the acclaimed director of “Get Out,” “Us” and “Nope,” will be “one of several talented storytellers” involved in the “Od” project, according to Kojima Productions. “We are...

Gareth Edwards knew there was something wrong after making “Rogue One” in 2016. After establishing a personal, guerilla filmmaking style on his low-budget sci-fi debut “Monsters” (2010) and then jumping straight into the “Godzilla” and “Star Wars” franchises, the director realized that he had lost his way. But then he found his creative voice on “The Creator” by combining the best of his previous films. In revolutionary fashion, Edwards made his $80 million sci-fi thriller about a future war between humanity and AI look like a $200 million blockbuster.
“When I got to do my first film, I think we had about $250 grand, and it was very creatively liberating,” Edwards told IndieWire. “But then I got dangled this carrot to do ‘Godzilla,’ and it was like going straight to the Super Bowl. I had to do it. And what was fascinating to me is that everything that was really easy to do on a...
