Fox News executive John Finley, fired last week after more than two decades with the network, was pushed out after a woman alleged she was sexually harassed and stalked, according to a Friday report by Mediaite citing sources it did not name.
The network said Finley was fired for violating company standards, but did not clarify what those standards were. “Fox News Media and John Finley have parted ways after an independent investigation concluded that he had violated certain standards of business conduct,” a Fox News spokesperson told TheWrap.
A recent investigation conducted by an outside law firm resulted in Finley being placed on leave from his role as executive vice president of development. He was subsequently fired.
Mediaite reports that a woman who was not an employee of Fox but has worked on projects for Fox Nation, which was helmed by Finley, had reached an undisclosed settlement with the network.

New York, June 30 (Ians) An international group of more than 350 scientists have found new evidence of high-energy neutrino — tiny and ghostlike astronomical messengers — emission from the Milky Way galaxy.
The findings, published in the journal Science, indicate that the Milky Way produces far fewer neutrinos than the average distant galaxies.
“Seeing our galaxy with neutrinos is something that we dreamed of, but which seemed out of reach for our project for many years to come,” said Chad Finley, Associate Professor at Stockholm University in Sweden.
“What made this result possible today is the revolution in Machine Learning, allowing us to explore much deeper into our data than before,” Finley added.
The high-energy neutrinos, with energies millions to billions of times higher than those produced by the fusion reactions that power stars, were detected by the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, a gigaton detector operating at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station.

Love is a purely human emotion that can’t be faked — such is the theme at the center of the first trailer for Cory Finley’s “Landscape With Invisible Hands,” released Tuesday.
The film is based on the book by M.T. Anderson and, per the official synopsis, it takes place years into a benevolent occupation of Earth by an alien species. “When 17-year-old artist Adam Campbell (Asante Blackk) and new girlfriend Chloe Marsh (Kylie Rogers) discover the Vuvv are particularly fascinated with human love and will pay for access to it, they decide to livestream their budding romance to make extra cash for themselves and their families. Life is good, for a while, until the flame of their teenage love fizzles out and they’re forced to make very different, absurdly life-altering sacrifices for their families.”
The trailer looks like a quirky romantic comedy, albeit with an alien invasion in the middle of it.

Riley Keough is set to become the sole trustee of Lisa Marie Presley‘s estate, according to new legal documents filed on Monday in Los Angeles.
In the docs obtained by Et, Riley petitions the court to approve the settlement agreement reached between her, her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, and Michael Lockwood, the Guardian Ad Litem for her two younger siblings. The settlement terms will see Riley serve as the sole trustee of her mother’s estate and the sub-trusts for her sisters, 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood.
Riley will not charge for her services as trustee, which her lawyer, Justin Gold, writes “will save money that would have gone to Priscilla who was going to charge a trustee fee.” Her lawyer also states in the docs that Riley intends to safeguard and invest the money “in a manner consistent with the needs of the beneficiaries, and not influenced by the desire of a Trustee.

But by peeling back the layers of this small Massachusetts island, there’s more to the destination than just tequila sodas and endless hookups. The island is comprised of several small towns, and specifically, Oak Bluffs has deep meaning and appreciation to the Black community.
Also known as “The Inkwell,” Oak Bluffs and Martha’s Vineyard is a favorite vacation destination for decades. The island also attracts hugely famous and powerful people, including President Barack Obama, director Spike Lee, Oprah Winfrey, and many others.

Exclusive: The L Word: Generation Q is no longer available on Showtime’s streaming service and the Showtime Anytime app. The removal comes on the heels of the series’ cancellation by the network after three seasons.
While the sequel has been removed, the groundbreaking original L Word series remains on the service. As Deadline reported exclusively last week, a reboot, The L Word: New York (working title), is in development at Showtime with the 2004 series’ creator Ilene Chaiken attached.
The removal of The L Word: Generation Q also follows the purge of a number of short-lived Showtime series from the streaming platform at the end of January as part of Showtime’s integration into Paramount+, which includes the linear network being renamed Paramount+ with Showtime later this year. As part of the changes, the company will “divert investment away from areas that are underperforming” and that accounts for “less than 10% of our views,...

It's been a long time. East New York last aired in early January, taking another break soon after returning from its midseason hiatus.
But now, the series is finally back, and we couldn't be happier!
East New York Season 1 Episode 12 spoilers promise more of Jimmy Smits, a big story for Bentley, and Killian's past coming back to haunt him.
Now that marijuana is legal in New York, the 7-4 will face a new, related problem: someone robbing dispensaries.
That's not good news for pro-legalization advocates, who won't want marijuana associated with violent crime. It's also problematic for Killian, who will have a personal connection to the case.
View Slideshow: CBS Cheat Sheet: CSI: Vegas & NCIS: Los Angeles in Danger
What could that connection be? Spoilers say that it threatens to derail Killian's personal life. He hasn't been getting along well with Corrine since she hired that ex-con as head...

The drama of The L Word: Generation Q, Showtime’s reboot of the original, 2000s-era L Word, can be summed up by singer-songwriter Fletcher’s line in the just-released Season 3 trailer: “It’s the kind of sapphic chaos I live for.” In a press release, Showtime says Generation Q’s third season picks up right where the Season 2 cliffhanger left off — with Tina (returning L Word alum Laurel Holloman) asking Bette (Jennifer Beals) if she still loves her — and the season will “follow the cast of characters as they struggle with secrets, old scars and new flames on their search for ‘the one.’” “While [Bette and Tina] determine their future together, their daughter Angie (Jordan Hull) embraces her new freedom at college, finding love in all the wrong places,” the premium cable network adds. “At the bungalow, Finley (Jacqueline Toboni) returns from rehab and discovers news about Sophie (Rosanny Zayas) that threatens both her sobriety and their relationship.
