Robert Newman’s eagerly-anticipated debut on The Young and the Restless is just days away, and a new photo shows the veteran actor in character. Newman will be seen in Genoa City beginning with the Wednesday, February 9 episode. He’ll be playing business tycoon Ashland Locke, and a first look photo of him in character, alongside Amelia Heinle’s Victoria Newman, above. He is taking over the role from Richard Burgi, who revealed he was fired in January after he, as he shared on Instagram, “naively and inadvertently violated the show’s Covid policy.” He tested positive and returned to work before the show’s 10-day isolation period. “I respect whatever the show’s decision is,” he said. “They’re doing the best they can,...

Tonight's episode of The X Factor was as eventful as ever, with the second part of Judges' Houses seeing Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora choose the final three acts they would be taking through to the live shows.
The top Boys and Girls have now been chosen, but the evening threw up some Twitter talk about a number of other moments of the show. Check out Digital Spy's round-up of the best tweets of the evening below.
The X Factor 2015: Re-live tonight's show as it happened with our live blog
Tonight's show was certainly emotional - but it wasn't appreciated by several viewers:
I can't cope with this box in the corner showing everyone crying at their own performances #XFactor

Once again it’s time for the only festival dedicated solely to expanded cinema performance in the U.S. (That I know of anyway.) Brooklyn’s 4th annual Mono No Aware is set to run on Nov. 28, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Lumenhouse studio and exhibition space.
For those unfamiliar with Mono No Aware’s mission, this is a one-night only collection of once-in-a-lifetime screening events, meaning that what the audience sees this night can never be recreated ever again.
I believe this year has the most performances in a single night than in previous Mono No Aware events. There will be 10 separate performances, each featuring some sort of film projection combined with either live music, image manipulation, audience interaction, electronic noise and/or spoken word.
With the truly unique nature of this event, there’s no way to adequately describe what each performance will exactly be like.
