Rumors are flying that the Jonas Brothers are getting back together — but is it too good to be true?
Twitter fans are hopeful that the band who brought them “Year 3000,” Camp Rock, and glorious 2008-style flippy hair may be reuniting after their dedicated Instagram account was reactivated after almost five years of silence
The band split up in 2013, with Nick Jonas telling People they were stepping back because “prioritizing our family is really important to us.”
Kevin Jonas added at the time, “We’re choosing our family because it was becoming toxic.”

Well, that was not what we were expecting after anxiously awaiting the music video for the Mumford & Sons song ‘Hopeless Wanderer!’
Mumford & Sons decided to try something completely different for their “Hopeless Wanderer” music video — and it’s quite possibly the best music video we’ve ever seen. The British folk band swapped themselves out with a funny man ensemble featuring Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman, Ed Helms, and Will Forte. Here are five things why this video is music and comedy gold.
Top 5 Moments From Mumford & Sons Parody
1. First and foremost, what’s not to love about this video? You have Mumford & Sons spoofing themselves with Hollywood’s funniest. Even if you’re not a folk music fan, this video is worth tuning in to.
2. Jason Sudeikis and Will kiss! No, your eyes are not deceiving you. In the heat of the moment, the two former Saturday Night Live stars embrace for a mini-makeout session.

In Harmony Korine's lurid new film, she plays a bikini-clad party girl. What happened to the child star who once dated Justin Bieber?
The most beautiful shot in Harmony Korine's new film is the only uninterrupted travelling shot in a movie otherwise frenetic in its cutting. It is a restaurant robbery shot from the getaway car after it drops off two girl-robbers at the backdoor, then glides around the building capturing the chaotic but, to us, completely silent hold-up of the diners through two distancing layers of glass, before picking them up again at the front door and speeding off into the sultry night. In Spring Breakers it performs the same transitional function as the tornado in the Wizard of Oz or the rabbit hole in Wonderland. Before it, the colours are muted and monochromatic and the four leads are bored and broke; afterwards the colours go all neon and ice-cream,...

Russell Brand to Host 2012 MTV Movie Awards
Comedian and actor Russell Brand will be emceeing the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Having hosted the network's Video Music Awards multiple times, Brand's no stranger to MTV audiences, so the hosting selection makes sense. His Vma hosting duties included an infamous "diss" toward The Jonas Brothers and their purity rings, as well as particularly pointed comments about politics, which can only bring about buzz for the Movie Awards. That sense of anything goes unpredictability hasn't always been a part of the Movie Awards and if you want unpredictable banter, you go for Russell Brand.
Brand becomes the latest in a long line of comedians to host the MTV Movie Awards, ranging from the dry humor of Dennis Miller to the goofiness of Mike Myers and duos like Justin Timberlake and Seann William Scott. Last year, Saturday Night Live cast member Jason Sudeikis hosted the latest Twilight domination,...

No matter what my detractors (or therapist) might claim, I am not a 13-year-old girl. This probably explains why, up until this weekend, I remained largely unaware of the entire One Direction phenomenon — which is sort of indefensible, considering they made chart history with their #1 debut just last month, have spent quality time with Justin Bieber and display the kind of comb-over acumen that a slightly balding man like myself should probably be taking note of.
Though now, thanks to their (genuinely not totally terrible) performance on "Saturday Night Live," and a creeping sense of inevitability that only comes from living through the previous two boy-band eras (O-Town 4 Ever), I am willing to admit that it's probably time I get to know the guys in 1D.

New York — One Direction knocked a major milestone off their bucket list on Saturday night when the guys took the famed stage of "Saturday Night Live" to perform. It was the first time anything resembling a boy band played the show since Valentine's Day 2009 when the Jonas Brothers were the show's musical guests.
For a band whose chart-topping album is called Up All Night, it wasn't difficult for the guys to spend the night wooing fans and non-One Directioners alike with their tracks "One Thing" and "What Makes You Beautiful." The appearance proves that the guys have truly been embraced by the American public.

As interviews go, a new conversation between The Advocate and Nick Jonas just may be one of the most gay-packed we've read in ages.
The singer and actor, who will take the reigns from Darren Criss and slip into the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in Broadway's revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on January 24, chatted with the gay magazine about everything from why Perez Hilton is a good gay friend to experiencing his first exposure to gay people during his Broadway debut at the age of 8 in "Annie Get Your Gun."
Jonas also discussed The Jonas Brothers's gay fans and why the band loves them:
"...We love our gay fans. It was definitely cool when we realized that, because the more you can grow your audience, the more people you can impact. They've been incredible over the years. My brothers and I totally look forward to meeting them,...

He admits getting naked on the Broadway stage doesn't exactly scare him. Really?! This time, according to a "wish list" of celebrity endorsers circulated to a group of campaign donors that was reportedly obtained by The Tennessean newspaper, a lot of the same names are in the mix (Jay-z, John Legend, Alicia Keys), along with other big-name acts such as Vampire Weekend, Janelle Monáe and Maroon 5's Adam Levine.

It might be called “How to Succeed Daniel Radcliffe.” Mr. Radcliffe made his Broadway musical debut in the revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” last year, never missing a performance as J. Pierrepont Finch, a nervy go-getter climbing the corporate ladder.
This month, the leading role is shuttling between three actors: Mr. Radcliffe exited Jan. 1, “Glee” actor Darren Criss plays the part through Jan. 22 and pop singer Nick Jonas takes over Jan.

Blockbuster franchise films reigned supreme at the North American box office in 2011. Joe Jonas was ok after being rushed to Los Angeles Children's Hospital on Sunday, December 19 due to severe stomach pains. The Jonas Brothers star suffered the stomachache reportedly after having a late night party at Board Room Nightclub with friends in Chicago on Friday.

I used to spend a lot of time sneering at the Jonas brothers, but as they've gotten older (and a little less squeaky clean), I find their ability to not take themselves seriously quite endearing. Like Nick Jonas as the deadbeat dad on Last Man Standing, still having to show off his voice.

"This one's saying that I'm at the point where I'm having fun with it. I'm not trying to be older. I'm not trying to be younger. I'm trying to explain where I'm at in my life, and I feel like that's what describes it, and having fun with my friends and it was beautiful and it was simple," she said in a phone interview. "I thought it was nice.

It’s already been a landmark week for pop culture reflected in food, between Ryan Gosling Pancake and the Game Of Thrones Dessert, but as internet pop-culture food hierarchies go, they must both bow down to their superior: Justin Bieber’s face in meat form - Meat Bieber is already trending on TwitMeat, plus my eleven-year-old daughter who just came into existence is already begging for a bite of this “Meaty Meaty Miney Moe Lover” goodness, and I just don’t know how to handle that. What ever happened to the Meat Jonas Brothers? (Blame It On The Voices, via Dlisted)...

I didn't expect this episode to live up to the standard set by last week's. I was hoping, however, for a little consistency of style and tone, some more cohesive use of the themes raised last week and throughout the season.
Then I remembered: It's Glee. Roll with it. So we'll roll, from the cartoon-violence, unrealistic “Sue for Congress” campaign ads and developments, to the set-to-music dodgeball war, to the ongoing tragedy of Blaine Anderson's short pants, all the way to the not-so-cartoonish-anymore final few minutes of "Mash-Off."
The first thing we learn is that the Lion King Puck-fassa has been caged. He's hot for teacher. He sings about it. I couldn't bear to watch. I'm sure there is some kind of Pucklby fandom where you can watch the clip if you missed it.
When Puck Halen performs for the rest of the New Directions, Rachel wonders if "Hot For Teacher" is appropriate.

Jonas Brother says channeling female perspective is a 'challenge.'
By Jocelyn Vena

It wasn't too hard for Nick Jonas to write for Quaker Chewy Superstar Search winner, 14-year-old Gabrielle Giguere: The Jonas Brother has a lot of experience digging around inside the female brain.
Long before he hit the studio with Giguere this year, he had already received killer production and writing credits for some of his A-list peers. So, what's it like to have to think like a girl? "I think my first experience with that was working with Demi [Lovato] on her record," Jonas recalled to MTV News. "We were a big part of her first record, [Don't Forget,] and helping craft that. And I was a part of her second, [Here We Go Again,] as well."

Twi-hards know Booboo Stewart as Seth Clearwater, Leah's younger brother and the new wolf in the pack in "Eclipse." Stewart has a bigger role in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and seems to be the wolf most likely to mingle peacefully with the Cullen clan when he's not busy bonding with Jacob.
Stewart is only 17 years old, but this multi-faceted teenager has already performed as a member of Disney's T-Squad, worked as a model and won the title of 2002 and 2003 Junior Martial Arts World Champion. We caught up with Stewart just before "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" breaks the box office and asked him if he is a lone wolf or one of the pack, what's up next for Seth in "Part 2" and on which celebrity he'd love to imprint.
You weren't born with the name Booboo. What's the story behind it and how do you write it?...

After Barney and Robin broke up on "How I Met Your Mother" during Season 5, we knew they would eventually get back together. Right?! They're too perfect for one another to lose that spark completely.
Which is why when we saw them kiss in the cab during "Disaster Averted," we screamed in joy at our TVs like 14-year-old girls at a Jonas Brothers concert. (Hypothetically, of course.) Alas, their Season 7 reunion was short-lived. Although Robin started the season with feelings for her ex, she realized that Barney had matured, that he was really into Nora, and that she should back off and let him be happy. A very mature thing to do.
But when Barney and Robin hooked up, Barney's feelings for Robin resurfaced, and our newer, more mature Barney who truly cared for Nora realized that he couldn't hide what he did. Robin, on the other hand, after spending so...

Nick Jonas has insisted that a Jonas Brothers reunion is still on the horizon. The musician and actor, who will soon replace Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, revealed that he has begun thinking about the group's next move along with bandmates and brothers Joe and Kevin. "We had been focusing this past year and a half on our individual projects and what we're doing on our own, and I think that with How to Succeed and with Joe still promoting his album and doing all that, that's still a bit part of the future," Nick told MTV News. What do Kanye West, the Jonas Brothers, Mel Gibson and Marc Jacobs all have in common? Well, they've all been lampooned on "South Park."
Jacobs recently appeared on the show. Well, actually, a doll-likeness of him called Muscle Man Marc appeared on the show. And the famed designer told MTV News last week that he can't believe he was chosen to be a part of the episode, appearing alongside Cartman's other dolls at a tea party.
"It is the coolest honor ever that I will never ever… I can't imagine anything greater happening to me in this lifetime," he explained to us. "'I'm just a doll in Cartman's room, so I guess I'm not really a character, but I don't know. They've made fun of so many people and rightfully so."

HollywoodNews.com: Jonas Brothers fans might be wondering what is going on with the guys, but it seems they might not have to wonder for long.
Kevin Jonas recently revealed that a reunion of the brothers might be in the near future, states People. “My brothers are performing Broadway. My wife and I just moved back to New Jersey, which of course is on the East Coast, which means we’ll all be together,” Kevin said about the guys finally being in one area again.
And while nothing is set in stone, Kevin thinks the chances are god: “I think the tides are perfectly lining up for the future of the Jonas Brothers again.”

Now that Eddie Murphy has joined his creative partner and friend Brett Ratner in exile from next year’s Oscars, Academy executives will be scratching their heads for a suitable replacement.
It was to be Murphy's debut at the helm of the entertainment industry's biggest night but, given the short notice for a brand new show, producers may well look to a more experienced pair of hands.
Billy Crystal was a repeat success throughout the 1990s, hosting the ceremony eight times in all. His high-octane musical numbers spoofing each of the main contenders became a standard feature of the show, and set a new high bar for irreverent wit, often at the expense of the fixedly-grinning stars in the front rows.
More recently, it's been a mixed bunch of quick-on-their-feet comedians, including Chris Rock and Steve Martin, who most recently co-hosted in 2010 with Alec Baldwin. Jon Stewart has already presented the ceremony twice,...

And red it is! The pop star tweeted a photo of her new hairdo. Gone are the dark ombre locks she's been rocking for the past few months. Her new fun, feisty, and bright look is just the thing to kick the winter gloom in the butt.
It's an appropriate time for a reinvention for the formerly troubled singer. This week, Lovato marks the one-year mark since she left the Jonas Brothers concert tour and entered a rehab facility to treat her eating disorder, self-harm, and addiction issues.

New York -- One was waiting tables at a Times Square seafood restaurant. Another was in Disney films and on tour with the Jonas Brothers. A third had performed at Carnegie Hall, but wondered when she'd land theater's biggest prize.
All three – George Salazar, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Celisse Henderson – are overjoyed to be making their Broadway debuts this month in a revival of Stephen Schwartz's "Godspell."
"For me, it's a dream come true," says Perez de Tagle while the others nod.
The trio is part of a 10-person cast that stars Hunter Parish, whose credits include Showtime's "Weeds" and Broadway's "Spring Awakening," as Jesus but also has plenty of young performers making their first foray onto a Broadway stage. The hip musical retelling of the New Testament's Gospel of Matthew opens Monday at the Circle in the Square Theatre.

We’ve blogged a couple of times about the much-loved, nine-member Korean girl group Girls Generation these past few days. The all-singing, all-dancing group is now on a promotional tour of the Us, having already achieved mega success in Korea, Japan and the rest of Asia.
“Be careful world we’re on the way!" band member Tiffany told our very own Christina Garibaldi when the girls popped by the MTV Newsroom. Yes, it seems like now that they've conquered Asia, the girls have set their sights on winning over America, having recently signed with Interscope Records (maybe they can rope in label mate Lady Gaga for a collaboration).
Judging by the music video of the group’s catchy Teddy Riley-crafted English single, “The Boys,” the girls certainly have the hooks and the moves to make it big stateside. But the task the girls face is an uphill one.

Joe Jonas has received a sexy treatment from sensational songstress Britney Spears during her Femme Fatale concert in London. The middle member of the Jonas Brothers got a playful lap dance performed by the "Toxic" singer at the gig that took place in Wembley Arena on Monday night, October 31.
Clad in casual shirt and denims, Joe was invited on stage by Britney while she performed her single "Leather and Lace". He was told to sit on a chair before Britney, who donned sexy pink bustier and fishnet tights, provocatively danced in front of him and then wrapped her legs around him in front of thousand concertgoers.
Joe was left blushing as the 29-year-old pop princess draped a feather boa around his shoulders and handcuffed his hands behind his back. After the concert, the ex-boyfriend of Ashley Greene took to his Twitter to share his gratitude towards the songstress. "@britneyspears thanks for the strip tease.

Washington, Oct 22: Demi Lovato will mark her first rehab anniversary by performing at baseball's World Series on Monday.
The 'Skyscraper' singer was admitted to rehab in October 2010, after facing a breakdown while on tour with the Jonas Brothers in South America.
Lovato has revealed that she had struggled for years with eating disorders and emotional problems.
The singer-actress will perform the U.S. National Anthem at Game 5 of the World Series between the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals exactly after a year to the day after the beginning of her three-month rehab treatment, reports Contactmusic.
The announcement came just days after Lovato's sister Dallas tweeted that her sister should belt out.

(The first single, "Mistletoe," dropped earlier this week during MTV First: Justin Bieber.)
For this release, Bieber has roped in a whole host of guest artists. Some guest appearances are to be expected – mentor and close friend Usher, of course, duets with Bieber on his version of "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts)." Some, though, seem to have come out of left field. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to do a double take when I found out that Bieber would be collaborating with Mariah Carey on a new version of her smash “All I Want for Christmas is You.” Not only is the music Carey makes very different from Bieber's, her fanbase is an entirely different demographic.
