Mark Kulka
- Actor
Mark Kulka was born in Philadelphia and was raised on the rural
farmlands of Pennsylvania. He moved to New York City in the 80's where
he studied with the legendary Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood
Playhouse school of the Theatre. Mark went onto intensive study at the
Phil Gushee Studio. Phil was Sanford Meisner's assistant at the
Neighborhood Playhouse and also taught there for many years before
forming his own studio. Always looking to hone his craft, Mark also
studied with Robert Lewis, founder of The Actors Studio, and
actor/director Michael Harney. In 1993 Mark produced and acted in his
first Off-Broadway play at the William Redfield Theatre in New York. It
was directed by Elizabeth Greenberg, casting director/associated of
many films including Capote and Brokeback Mountain. Mark has performed
in over 30 plays in New York and Los Angeles. Mark is also founder of
the Third Earth Ensemble. His first television role came in 1994 where
he played the character Ralphie on One Life to Live. Mark's uncanny
ability at changing his looks and immersing himself into different
characters has allowed him to step from stage to television and film.
He resides in Los Angeles California.
