Phillip Schofield has described Danny Dyer as a "f**king god" for his ability to swear well.
Alan Carr asked the This Morning presenter about Dyer after his strong showing on last week's episode of Chatty Man.
Carr said: "We had Danny Dyer on last week and he is a god! We talked about the rape storyline and he is inspiring."
Schofield replied: "Yes he is. Well the one thing you've forgotten about him, is that Danny Dyer is a f**king god.
"He can't actually speak without him peppering it with occasional swearing. I like people that use it well. He uses it well!"
Asked about the complaints received by This Morning, Schofield said: "We had a breast cancer item on the other day and I couldn't believe that people were complaining with the fact that we showed a woman who was checking herself for breast cancer.

Everyone has an opinion when it comes to the world’s most popular illegal substance. It splits opinions with many people believing the plant and its derivatives should be legalised and regulated, while others believe there are many underlying problems caused by consuming the class B drug.
A channel 4 show in the UK hosted by Dr. Christian Jessen and news personality Jon Snow recently got 20 volunteers to take cannabis, some for the first time to compile comprehensive results. The volunteers included public figures like former BBC royal correspondent Jenny Bond, journalist and former tory MP Matthew Parris, a former undercover drug detective Neil Woods as well as Jon Snow himself. Each were studied while under the influence, and were subject to tests including Mri scans and audible hallucination tests.
The results varied greatly between the users, from Neil Woods expressing how it gave him the urge to listen to some 80’s hip-hop,...

Damned Designs will follow homeowners who have broken planning laws, as they fight for their properties to be saved from bulldozers in the court of the Planning Inspectorate.
Sarah Beeny will host Clicks and Mortar, which features two families choosing to sell their house online instead of a high street estate agent.
Charlie Luxton will find the strangest and most striking homes on the UK's coastline in Shore Thing, finding out what goes into building such properties and the challenges they provide.

Lindsay Lohan shows Alan Carr how to pole dance in tonight's episode of Chatty Man (April 25).
The comedian asks Lohan to show him her skills after learning that she was taught how to do it years previously.
The actress also fans the chat show host with money when he attempts to pull off some pole dancing moves.
Lohan also discusses having to deal with the paparazzi on a regular basis, and how she avoids reading newspapers.
She says: "People will tell me about things that get said. You can't pay attention to that stuff. People just say whatever they want to say. I'm so numb to it at this point that it doesn't even exist really.
"It's also exhausting. Who lives that much in, like, every second? Who can do all those things I've apparently done?"

London, March 18: Adele is accused of turning people gay with her music on Dr Christian Jessen show.
37-year-old Jessen, who's openly gay, discovered retired doctor John Smid from Texas, who appears on channel 4's 'Cure Me I'm Gay', testing therapies to cure homosexuality across the States.
On Jessen's show, Smid says that the 25-year-year old pop star's music is very popular within the gay community, and throws her music CD telling Jessen to listen to Christian music instead, reports the Daily Star.
The 'Skyfall' hitmaker is apparently on a list which men should avoid if they want to be straight.

Dr Christian Jessen is to look into controversial therapy techniques in a new Channel 4 series.
The openly gay Embarrassing Bodies star will be filmed undergoing various treatments in Cure Me, I'm Gay.
After completing several reparative methods, he will undertake a 'sexuality test' to measure his sexual arousal, reports Attitude magazine.
Jessen will also speak about gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (Lgbt) patients who are attempting to be "turned straight", along with "ex-gay" patients who have reportedly seen their sexuality change through therapy methods.
The presenter previously spoke of being gay in the medical profession with Ditch the Label, saying: "I have been exposed to off-the-cuff homophobic comments from other doctors, especially when being trained in sexual health.
"I never hid my sexuality but never wove a flag either; I don't see it as being relevant. I am a doctor and not a 'gay doctor'."

Birthday shoutouts go to Gabriel Macht (above), who is 42, Linda Blair is 55, Piper Laurie is 82, and Steve Perry is 65. Here’s a blast from the past.
In ratings news, Looking was, well … a disappointment. It lost half of Girls‘s lead-in, but it did double its audience with the replays, and hopefully will improve that when all the viewers from HBO Go and On demand are counted. But still … it’s not good.
If you didn’t get a chance to see Looking, the network has posted the full episode here.
After healthy ratings lately, NBC has renewed Days of Our Lives through September 2016.

BBC Two’s The Science of Doctor Who was more of the former than the latter, but still an entertaining celebration of ideas…
Can you imagine Rufus Hound as a long line of disassociated atoms? Professor Brian Cox can. He can imagine lots of things: diagrams drawn from the perspective of a black hole (how does it hold the pen?), bits of card as “pieces of space-time”, and the concept of looping energy and matter around so that your future light cone touches your past light cone (I think I did that once in yoga).
Armed with just a candle, a blackboard, and a handful of TV’s most innocuous celebrities, Professor Cox set out to explore the science of Doctor Who. What, about the world of the Doctor, was really possible, and what was science-y bunkum? Could regeneration ever happen? Can something really be bigger on the inside?...

Dr Christian Jessen has criticised Alan Sugar for choosing to "promote" Apprentice winner and "junior doctor" Leah Totton.
Totton won this year's edition of the show, with Sugar choosing to invest £250,000 into her business to launch high-street facial medical cosmetic procedure clinics.
"Alan Sugar has certainly not done patient safety and medical aesthetics any favours by promoting very junior doc 2 run Botox/filler clinics!" said Embarrassing Bodies presenter Jessen on Twitter.
"The apprentice winner in question may well be entirely competent but I do sorry about the image projected on the show of these procedures."
He added: "As the medical director who will be her senior to guide her when things go wrong?!
"I wonder if you know that there was a recent case of a patient rendered completely blind in one eye after having facial fillers...? "

The rise of Lena Dunham, Adele and Christina Hendricks might challenge the tyranny of thin, but our obsession with body size is still out of control, argues Lionel Shriver
We're used to actors stripping on camera by now, so, in the many episodes of Girls in which Lena Dunham tugs her dress over her head, what's shocking isn't the bare breasts, but the belly: it's convex. Though Dunham could hardly be called fat, her stomach displays a distinct little jiggle. Has she no shame? No, as a matter of fact. She doesn't.
By increments, the tyranny of the thin is seeing cultural pushback. The bouncing roly-poly Beth Ditto and the formidable what-are-you-looking-at? Christina Hendricks in Mad Men project an audacious aesthetic alternative to the functional-anorexic ideal. So incendiary has the issue of physical size become in the west that weight takes on the character of a political statement. The rise...

Tonight Channel 4, in conjunction with Cancer Research, launches their campaign against the deadly disease that will strike 1 in 3 of us in our lifetime – cancer.
Hosted by Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Dr. Christian Jessen the show will take the form of a variety extravaganza, much in the fashion of Children in Need or Comic Relief, with members of the world of film, TV and stand up performing for your entertainment and appealing for your donations.
The scheme was inspired by the massive success that Stand Up for Cancer has had in the Us. Since launching in 2008 with a roadblock telecast across ABC, CBS and NBC, it has attracted the support of some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Taylor Swift, Julia Roberts, Alicia Keys, Samule L Jackson, Coldplay, Jay Leno, Rhiana, George Clooney, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Aniston and countless, countless others.

Dr Christian Jessen has taken a swipe at Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson, branding him "fake and old-fashioned". The Embarrassing Bodies presenter told the Radio Times that he would change the channel to avoid Clarkson's TV shows. "I hate his machismo b*llocks - excuse my language, I didn't mean that - but it's so incredibly fake and old-fashioned," he said. "He really needs to move on, get in touch with his feminine side and get a decent haircut." Jessen, who returns to Channel 4 later this month in Live from (more)...

Spooks, Qi, 8 out of 10 Cats, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and a re-run for Reaper. Plus lots of movies too in the week ahead...!
Where do MI5's secret agents hide out when they're not defending the Isles? Why, among comedians, that's where.
We start our weekend off in the style that only Mr Stephen Fry can deliver with a ninth series of Qi. The first of sixteen episodes welcomes Phill Jupitus, Jack Dee, Ross Noble and, of course, Alan Davies to the letter 'H' and the topic of Hodge Podge tonight, Friday, September 17th at 8:30pm on BBC1.
A little later in the evening, Jimmy Carr-hosted 8 Out Of 10 Cats returns to trump Qi with one series better (numerically, that is) in the first of five episodes at 10:00pm on Channel 4. Guests joining regulars Jason Manford and Sean Lock are Dr Christian Jessen, Jamelia, and the Jacks,...

It’s finally sunny here in London! The mercury is on its way to 28 (centigrade of course) and I’m sitting in my garden, listening to soon-to-be-defunct BBC Radio 6 music (which makes me sad). But fear not – there were enough cold hours for me to sit in front of the telly and bring you news of what the devil’s been going on in Britain.

First up is a documentary made for ITV’s Tonight Show about homophobia in modern Britain. Afraid to be Gay was presented by newly out king of rugby Gareth Thomas, who does a better job of expressing a personality than most sports “personalities.”
The documentary featured Gareth’s coming out party attended by Dr. Christian Jessen of Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies, and singer Will Young, presenting partners Colin and Justin. Please note, I feel very resentful of that as I didn’t have a comin gout party.
