The ViacomCBS network is launching its Naughty or Nice strand at the end of November through December with five made-for-television movies – Adventures in Christmasing, The Bitch Who Stole Christmas, Hip Hop Family Christmas, Let’s Get Merried and Miracles Across 125th Street.
Adventures in Christmasing centers around Parker Baldwin, a highly successful and meticulous talk show host who plans everything to a T, finds her Christmas plans upended when her network persuades her to spend three days in the wild with superstar adventurer & television survivalist Finn Holt for a holiday television event. The two butt heads until they find themselves stranded together in the wild with no food, unreliable shelter and no form of communication. Unexpectedly impacting each other, they come to realize life is the greatest adventure.

Kenya Barris on Getting His Kids’ Approval When Mining Their Family’s Life and Fights for ‘#BlackAF’
At this point in his television career of mining his personal life for family comedies, Kenya Barris tells his kids ahead of time what from their adolescence they should expect to see on-screen.
In fact, for his Netflix comedy “#BlackAF,” in which Barris stars as a version of himself — a Hollywood showrunner with six kids — some of those children saw the material well ahead of time.
“I made sure my oldest daughter read every script; my middle daughter, who’s a super film buff, read every outline before I showed her the script; my youngest daughter came to editing a few times,” Barris says. “So many of their friends watch Netflix, I definitely made sure to give them a heads-up. The biggest boost I needed was that my daughters got behind me.”
“#BlackAF” is hardly the first show for which Barris pulled from his own experiences. His Emmy-nominated ABC sitcom “Black-ish,...

Chrisette Michele isn’t letting the criticism she’s received over performing at Donald Trump’s pre-inauguration concert silence or intimidate her. The track, which is the first release from a planned album of the same name, begins, “I am the black song Spike Lee won’t sing/I am the black voice inauguration bells ring.” That’s an apparent reference to...

Whether an artist rejects or accepts an invitation to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration – or cancels their performance days before – the news makes headlines. Now, Chrisette Michele is in the spotlight for confirming that she would be singing at the president-elect’s special day.
The singer has been receiving backlash from fans, including Spike Lee who “was sorry” to hear that she would be performaning on Friday, January 20. The director posted a picture of Michele on Instagram, writing that he was no longer considering using her song in his upcoming Netflix series “She’s Gotta Have It.”

Eve, "Lip Lock" (From The Rib/Red)
With her first studio album in 11 years, Eve returns with an unimpressive, unfulfilling new offering, "Lip Lock."
The rapper's rhymes lack passion, her wordplay is too simple, her hooks come across as mundane and she fails to find a musical identity on the 12-track album – particularly on single "She Bad Bad" and "Eve," featuring Miss Kitty.
The album includes top producers like The Neptunes, Swizz Beatz and Rico Love, but even they were unable to save this poor album.
The bright spots are the guest appearances that include Snoop Dogg ("Mama in the Kitchen"), Missy Elliott ("Wanna Be"), Dawn Richard ("Keep Me From You"), Chrisette Michele ("Never Gone") and Gabe Saporta ("Make It Out This Town"). But each talented guest overshadows Eve in every way.
On "Grind or Die," Eve reminds critics she's been banking millions of dollars internationally from Belgium to Japan...

New York — Chris Brown is known pop singer, a slick bedroom crooner and at other times, a Euro-flavored dance singer. But it's his rapping that has taken his career to new heights.
With his hit single "Look at Me Now," Brown has dominated more than just the R&B territory: The boastful track, which co-stars Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, was Billboard's No. 1 rap song of 2011 and it's nominated for best rap song and best rap performance at Sunday's Grammy Awards, where Brown's competition includes Jay-z, Kanye West, Dr. Dre and Eminem.
The song is just another example of Brown's rapping prowess. At last year's Bet Hip-Hop Awards, Brown went toe-to-toe with other hip-hop acts during one segment, and was so strong he left 50 Cent wowed.
"Chris particularly was impressive," said 50 Cent. "He rapped better than the rappers. I'm going to give it up. I'm watching the show (like), `How did they let that happen?...

Drizzy Drake is at it again, releasing the visuals for "Paradise," another track of "Take Care." The video is perhaps as simple as a rap video can be: curvy model Kyra Chaos, dressed in leggings and a bra, practices her dance moves in front of a mirror to the tune of Drake's track.
The Canadian rap boy wonder makes an appearance at the end, where he shows his appreciation for Chaos' dancing.
Over on Drake's October's Very Own group blog, users are encouraged to submit videos of themselves dancing to the track.
It's a big day for Drake for another reason as well. The rapper's duet with Nicki Minaj, "Make Me Proud," is No. 1 on the Billboard Rap Songs chart, and by RapRadar's count, that's his 11th chart topping single, which puts him ahead of Puff Daddy / P. Diddy / Puff / Diddy as the winningest rapper.
It should be noted, however,...

Neither Drake nor R&B singer Chrisette Michele, who both sing on the song's hook, were present onstage, and their absence was noticeable as Ross carried on without them, spitting his LL Cool J-inspired bars, "When I'm alone in my room, sometimes I stare at the wall," with his usual gruff.

There are quite a few universal beauty truths (for example, kohl-rimmed eyes give a rock star vibe, or red lips equal Old Hollywood glamour), but right now, this is our favorite: mile-long, faux lashes instantly make everyone look a thousand times sexier. Chrisette Michele's Grammy night lash look might be a little much for day, but why not try upgrading your lash game by using a curler before applying a volumizing, lenghening mascara? We like Shu Uemura's cult-favorite Eyelash Curler ($19, shuuemura-usa.com) and L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Waterproof Mascara ($7.67, walmart.com). We guarantee that the combination of these two miracle workers will give you the lushest, look-at-me lashes ever!
