Exploited gets off to a start that certainly lives up to its title as webcam performer Caleb is beaten to death in mid-performance.
Move forward a few months to the start of a new school year and Brian (Jordan Ver Hoeve; 666: Teen Warlock) is moving into his dorm room and starting college life. After walking in on his roommate Jeremy and his girlfriend Lexi he starts to get settled in. He doesn’t notice a flash drive identical to the one the school gave him sitting on the desk. He’s in for a nasty shock as it contains videos of the online sexual activity of the room’s previous occupant. And, in the last video, being murdered.

Exclusive: Sean Hayes is wrapping up production on Lazy Susan, an indie comedy the Will & Grace stalwart stars in alongside Carrie Aizley, Margo Martindale, Jim Rash with Matthew Broderick and Allison Janney. Nick Peet directed a script that Hayes wrote with Darlene Hunt and Aizley.
In the comedy, Hayes portrays the title character, a frumpy, bumbling, unmotivated woman named Susan who, despite her best efforts, always manages to get herself in the most ridiculous, embarrassing situations imaginable.
The film’s produced by Dominion Pictures’ Carl Moellenberg, Hazy Mills Productions’ Todd Milliner and Stargazer Films’ Zach O’Brien and Shane O’Brien.
“We wanted to explore the indie comedy genre from a different perspective,” said Hayes. “This is, at times, a dark look inside a character’s lack of empathy and ability to extend herself when it doesn’t serve her own needs. We root for Susan to grow and become self-aware.

"They can't handle it when guys upgrade to a better model... and this, my friend, is a much better model." Gravitas Ventures has unveiled the first brief teaser trailer for the horror thriller film The Doll, starring the woman actually known as "The Human Barbie." Out today in select AMC theatres and also available on VOD is the horror film Anarchy Parlor, the feature directorial debut of Kenny Gage and Devon Downs. In our latest Q&A, we caught up with Gage, Downs, and actress Tiffany DeMarco to discuss filming Anarchy Parlor in Lithuania, writing the movie with Robert Lasardo in mind, shooting in a real 12th century dungeon, and much more.
How and when did you guys initially come up with the idea for Anarchy Parlor?
Kenny Gage: Devon and I have been friends for years. We are fans of the "realism" style of horror and were looking to make a film that felt familiar, yet very different. We read a crazy article about the 17th century practice of binding books in human skin and knowing that this film was looking to become a reality, it truly gave us the inspiration to take our story to another level.

Independence Day 2: Last night it was revealed that the first official cast member had signed on to star in Roland Emmerich's Independence Day 2, the sequel to his 1996 film that featured massive alien-induced destruction and larger-than-life characters. It's now been confirmed that one of those characters will be coming back, as Emmerich tweeted last night that Jeff Goldblum will appear in the sequel, likely reprising his role as the brainy and dryly humorous David Levinson, who teamed up with fighter pilot Captain Steven Hiller to take down the mothership in the original film. The graphic shows actor Lasardo as the Artist. He has already dipped his inker into blood.

Somehow, someway, the award winning bowlegged poet-turned-filmmaker from Midlothian, Virginia, is now getting his 7th feature film produced, Deadly Punkettes. The film will depict the gritty Neapolitan rise and fall of 4 prissy teenage punk-rock princesses, who’ll have to maintain well-rounded riots even after a founding member mysteriously dies, and haunts their act!
The picture might just be the first of its kind, melding an all-girl group novelty with paranormal terror. The plot twists hardly promise to be tame, and the predictability of this particular writer’s track record could convince us the story will be chock full of sassy, silly, and seductive female characters.
Meet the band… On bass guitar and vocals … the daring and diverse D’Lannie Brown, as Aspen, a simple girl who’s about to become enchanted by a new set of illusions in her life … and death. On guitar … the delicate and dear … Claire Gordon-Harper,...

The Slink Special Edition DVD, from Frolic Pictures, can now be brought home from Amazon, with a full hour of bonus material, including the uncensored deleted scenes (that were too controversial to be included in the theatrical version). Also on the disc is nearly a half hour of Behind the Scenes (which feature the intimacies of the cast and crew at work), plus 3 Slink Trailers, and Red Carpet coverage of the Hollywood Premiere, hosted Kamuela Kim on the Kam Kim Show. Total runtime: 2 hours!
It has been said, that no new idea in cinema really exists, that is why the folks at Frolic Pictures in Hollywood think ya’ll should know about an unoriginal, but stellar American slasher-comedy, that’s about to drop so hard in December on VOD and BluRay, you don’t even know. Teachers’ Day.
He's been referred to as the Ed Wood of the 21st Century.

Our MoreHorror in Hollywood correspondent Dawna Lee Heising recently interviewed writer and director Jared Masters about his feature film Slink, which stars Carlos Ramirez and Danika Galindo. Heising also plays Joan in the film.
Slink is a mixture of thriller and slasher film, and is being buzzed about with similarities of Hitchcock and Kubrick flicks. I'm definitely excited about this one.
Check out the exclusive interview below as well as a couple photos of the cast and director.
About Slink:
"Slink" is the twisted and harrowing tale of a rural tanning salon owner who abducts vulnerable young girls, possibly linked to his wife manufacturing mysterious designer purses.
The film stars the incredibly talented Art Roberts, as Dale, slaying pretty young things in his 99th role. The sumptuous Ms. Julia Faye West as the irrepressible Aunt May.

I have been waiting for a good representation of We Need to Talk About Kevin to post and this UK movie trailer is it. It doesn’t give everything away from the book yet hints at the three acts of the film very cleverly through the editing.
