Jeremy Renner has a lot going for him in Hollywood these days, but his most important role is Dad.
The Wind River star opened up to Men’s Journal for their September cover story, discussing how he wants to add to his brood (Renner has one daughter: 4-year-old Ava Berlin, his only child with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco).
“I’d like to have eight running around. A gaggle, a little clan,” says the 46-year-old actor, divulging that he has thought of being a dad to another little girl, whom he’d name Hannah.

The best part about being a twin is having a built-in best friend with whom you can share everything. The worst part? Finding out your twin is a full minute older than you are.
That’s the life lesson that made 3-year-old Alexis McClure break down in tears on an adorable YouTube video that has gone viral.
“Lexi, what do you think being identical twins means?” the girls’ mother, Ami McClure, is heard asking in the clip.
“Adorable!” Alexis replies.
The girls hug each other and smile as their mom explains it means they look alike.

I really one to see Alex Garland’s “Halo” movie. If anyone could abolish the video games-don’t-make-good-movie myths, Garland was a likely candidate. His science fiction writing is heady without drowning in self-importance. “28 Days Later” is a great film. “Never Let Me Go” flirts with all the right ideas and tones, even if it’s too dour for its own good. “Dredd” trounced low expectations with its tangibility and streamlined focus. Garland wrote a draft of “Halo” nearly a decade ago. It still sounds like the perfect match of writer and blockbustery source material. There’s little chance we’ll see his take, but it’s relevant because the first look at Garland’s directorial debut, “Ex Machina,” will only make you wish someone with this control over the genre could step into a mega-budgeted action movie. This trailer proves that Oscar Isaac yammering about Turing tests can be...

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Review
You can’t deny the artistic abilities found in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, but it looks like Frank Miller may have lost his storytelling abilities to his ego. There’s something to the idea of fusing a film from the largely unconnected stories that might exist as “issues” of a graphic novel, but this isn’t how you make such a theory work.
The film kicks off with Marv (Mickey Rourke) walking us through an encounter that simply serves as an explanation of who he is, and puts him into the world so that we recognize him when he shows up later. This takes us to Dwight (Josh Brolin), and Johnny (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who will each have their turns being the focus of stories that don’t connect to each other.
Dwight has his world disrupted when Ava (Eva Green), an ex,...

Justified is preparing the ground for a final confrontation between Raylan, Boyd and Ava...
This review contains spoilers.
5.12 Starvation
Timothy Olyphant has been quoted as saying that he would like to see the series come to an end with a final confrontation between the characters of Raylan, Boyd and Ava, and this week's episode seem to be setting up a scenario where Mr Olyphant will get his wish. Raylan's time with Ava is short but important because he attempts to use her as a means to destroy Boyd and when she does not acquiesce to his demands he is more than disgusted by her decision. Ava is the one who reminds us all that Raylan was the man who not only seduced her right after she had shot and killed her husband but that he was also the one primarily responsible for destroying her life.

Justified Season 4 has centered on Raylan's quest for a promotion, the hunt for Drew Thompson and, as Joelle Carter explained in our exclusive interview yesterday, a trio of unusual love stories.
"There's been Colt and Boyd, Raylan and Constable Bob and Ava and Ellen May," the actress said, turning her focus to the latter pairing and how it has impacted her character on this terrific FX drama.
"Ava stood up for Ellen May because she related to that kind of abuse. That's how she justified killing Delroy… and then she took Ellen May under her wing and wanted so desperately to believe that she could just trust her to keep it secret."
So… can she?
Ellen May hasn't said a word about the incident yet. But previews for tonight's "Peace of Mind" make it look like a possibly fatal confrontation is on the way. If Ava can pull the trigger,...

Bright eyed and bushy tailed, the cast of Up All Night left their kids nesting at home on Tuesday night while they talked babies at Paley Center for the Media. The show's renewal for a second season is still up in the air, but potential plotlines could change the dynamic of the core threesome of Maya Rudolph, Christina Applegate, and Will Arnett.

Christina has fallen in love with the little twin girls who play her daughter Amy and would "protest" if the show decides to flash-forward in time. "I don't want new babies," she objected. "[I'm] putting my foot down. [They're] part of the family."
Age gap aside, the co-stars have bonded off screen too. Christina's daughter Sadie is often a fixture on the kid-friendly set and has "play dates" with her fictional daughters. The girls' parents also attended the panel in Beverly Hills and gave their blessing for [link...

Since there were so many interesting and entertaining events during "Loose Ends," I was surprised at my own reaction when it ended. I wasn't amazed, which has been my feeling following a number of Justified episodes during this middle stretch of the third season.
It's been great, but during the majority of season two and the first three or four episodes this year, Justified was indescribably awesome. That level of quality is hard to achieve in back to back seasons.
"Loose Ends" was very good though. Ava's rise, Boyd's speech, everything to do with the land mine, and Raylan wrestling with Limehouse about Quarles were all fantastic in their own right, but it seemed more like an episode that was setting the scene for episodes down the road than an hour of pure entertainment in and of itself. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Reagan may have gone a little Clark Griswold when it came to her decorations on this week's episode of Up All Night, "First Christmas," but her heart was in the right place.
During a time of year where people tend to get caught up in material gifts, Reagan's sole motivation behind turning her family's home into a winter wonderland was to give her daughter a taste of the holiday spirit that she never seemed to get as a child.
Blythe Danner returned as Reagan's mom and, after having a Scrooge-esque awakening - and a little liquid courage - helped to make up for the past by "borrowing" a local church's Santa and sleigh. She also delivered some very sincere praise to her son-in-law, noting that Chris's decision to quit his job and stay home to raise Amy, in her eyes, made him a real man.

Last night may have been one of my favorite episodes of Justified, heck in all of television this year because it made me laugh harder than I’ve laughed in a long time and I’ll explain why later. “Blaze of Glory” gave the audiences its first (though not the last) major episode featuring Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) and Winona (Natalie Zea), and a once-infamous outlaw gets reacquainted with his pursuer.
Before I dissect the two big plot points, I want to start off with Ava and Boyd Crowder, who we were left hanging from last week not knowing what Ava would do. Would she support Boyd, or would she rat on him to the authorities. It appeared as if there was some solidarity as they were separately questioned by the Atf (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) and their stories matched. Boyd told the truth about what went down,...
