New projects from producers and production companies behind The Father, Born To Be Blue, Mustang and I’m No Longer Here are among the roster at the virtual 16th Ontario Creates International Financing Forum (iff) set to run from September 12-13.

Dominic Flint, Lawrence Pumfrey and Claire Tailyour have been selected for the programme of mentoring and networking opportunities.
They were chosen by a ten-person jury that included filmmaker Annemarie Jacir; actors Colm Meaney and Romola Garai; casting director Sophie Holland; and former Bafta chairman Tim Corrie.

Today’s film is the 2014 short Ruby’s Skin. The film is written and directed by Claire Tailyour, and stars John Bowe, Mark Enticknap, and Olivia Cooke. Cooke has appeared in the series Blackout and Crickley Hall before garnering a role as Emma Decody on the A&E series Bates Motel. She can currently be seen in the second season of Bates Motel, and her newest film, titled The Quiet Ones, opens in wide release in American theatres this weekend.
