Journalist Jeffrey Ressner, who covered entertainment and politics for four decades at outlets like Rolling Stone, Politico and Time, died Saturday, June 28, at St. John's Hospital in Los Angeles. The cause of death was heart failure. Ressner, who had been hospitalized earlier in the month for treatment of edema, was 56.
