‘Power Of The Dog’ Producer Tanya Seghatchian To Lead London Film Festival Jury
Film producer Tanya Seghatchian has been announced as the jury president for the Official Competition of the 66th BFI London Film Festival, running from October 5 – 16. Seghatchian will be joined by British actor Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones), filmmaker and playwright Kemp Powers (One Night in Miami), filmmaker Chaitanya Tamhane (The Disciple), and journalist Charles Gant. The jury will award the festival’s Best Film Award.

French filmmaker Besson will kick off the new Absolute Beginners devoted to directors speaking about their experiences on their first features.

German TV networks group ProSiebenSat.1 has named Israeli producer Koby Gal-Raday to the newly-created position of senior vp of international co-productions and documentaries. Gal-Raday, whose co-production credits include the award-winning Israeli drama The Band's Visit, will oversee the group's expansion into more English-language and international fiction and documentary productions. Cologne, Germany - There are new faces at the top of two of Germany's leading commercial channels as broadcast giant ProSiebenSat.1 carries out a major executive shuffle at its flagship networks Sat.1 and Pro7. Jurgen Horner, currently head of Pro7, will move upstairs, joining ProSiebenSat.1's board of directors as managing director of the group's entire German TV operations.
