- Chosen by The Olympic Committee to carry The Olympic Torch at The United States Air Force Academy, Winter Olympics 2002, after his Father, Robert Allen McDowell, submitted a paragraph/nomination to The Olympic Committee detailing how his son inspired him and about Jason Allen Mac's contributions to Habitat for Humanity, where Jason put together and lead a group of Air Force Airmen to build 3 houses in Gulfport, Mississippi. Jason also received a letter of appreciation from Habitat for Humanity, and from his Base Commander, Brigadier General Mercer.

- Jason is one of the founding members of The Student Veterans of America, S.E.V.E.N. (Students of Entertainment Veteran-Encompassing Network) Chapter at The Los Angeles Film School, The Los Angeles Recording School. He held the titles of Vice President of the Exterior (Retired 2011-2012) and Interim President (Retired 2012).
- Runs his own Production Company, "Create and Destroy Productions", which has a focus on Film/Music Production and Post-Production.
- Served Active Duty in The United States Air Force from 2000-2006, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant, E-5. He was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas and was an Aircraft Communications Navigation Avionics Systems Specialist on the KC-135 Aerial Refueler. He served in Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He did 4 tours in the Middle East and earned an Honorable Discharge.
