As she sits cross legged on a blush throw rug in her Brooklyn apartment, Victoria ‘Vic’ Styles recounts the first time she ever felt connected to true creativity. The then-24-year-old had just moved to Los Angeles from Alabama after dropping out of university, mere months before graduation, with dreams of becoming a fashion designer.
“It was the only sense of normalcy I had ever felt,” Styles says. “I felt a sense of peace. I felt a sense of home.”

Stylist/designer Rachel Zoe may not be getting the boot from Bravo after all! A report today from gossip blogger Perez Hilton suggested that "The Rachel Zoe Project," currently airing its fifth season, had been canceled by Bravo.
But reps for the network tell us there's no truth to the article. "'The Rachel Zoe Project' and 'It's a Brad, Brad World' are both currently on the air during our Fashion Night. There has been no decision on either show for next season," says a Bravo spokesperson.
Hilton's anonymous source insists, "The decision has been made to cancel Rachel's show... all we are waiting for is the announcement. The ratings are lackluster and Bravo has decided that Rachel's show has run it's course. Viewers just aren't tuning in to the show anymore. The audience has also complained that Rachel has surrounded herself with 'yes' people, unlike her previous employees,...

Is Rachel Zoe on the chopping block? While a new report claims the celeb stylist isn’t bringing in enough drama to keep her fans tuned in to her reality show, Bravo tells us that there in no truth behind the report — read on for the full story.
Celeb stylist-turned-designer Rachel Zoe is extremely talented, but it was her Bravo reality show, The Rachel Zoe Project, that really put her on the map with it’s launch in 2008. Each week, fans tune in to watch the drama unfold in the workroom of the 41-year-old stylist, however a new Radar report claims that low ratings are putting the future of the show in jeopardy. According to a Bravo representative, we can exclusively report that the claims are “not true.”

Birthday shoutouts! A belated Happy 30th Birthday to Ae member Morgan, Helen Reddy is 70, Chely Wright is 41, and Katy Perry is 27. I know Katy has lots of fans here, and while I'm not one, I can appreciate that she's put out a lot of fun pop music over the last few years. So time to name your top five Katy songs! Here's my #1.
Who will portray Princess Grace? And more importantly, will this biopic dredge up all of those awful jokes, i.e. "What did Princess Grace have that Natalie Wood could have used?" Oxygen has given the greenlight to two new docu-series, including L.A. Style, which is described this way (I sh*t you not): "La Style is a sizzling look into the lives of four breakthrough fashion stylists on the rise in the cutthroat and catty world of Hollywood fashion.

Taylor Jacobson wants you to know she's doing just fine, thank you very much. The blond, sometimes brash celebrity stylist split from Rachel Zoe in August of 2010 and was the subject of one-sided attacks on Zoe's eponymous reality TV show, " The Rachel Zoe Project ." Since then, Jacobson has been building an impressive roster of her own clients, including best-dressed list regular Kate Beckinsale , Brandy , Marisa Tomei , and Mena Suvari . In addition to styling, Jacobson has become a businesswoman, collaborating with Kasil on a denim line, which you can view at KasilWorkshop.com . Check out some of Jacobson's looks below: In an exclusive interview with TooFab's Lawrence Yee, Jacobson talks about what she's doing now, her relationship with "frenemy" Brad Goreski , and provides style tips that everyone can use. TooFab: Most people haven't seen you since "Rachel Zoe." What have you been working on? Jacobson: I've spent the last year and...

Brad Goreski, the nerd glass-, bow-tie-, suspender-wearing associate of super stylist Rachel Zoe, announced yesterday that he would be parting ways with his guru Oct. 1, according to People. The two say the split was amicable, and Zoe went on to explain: “He did this with such class and elegance. And I get it. I just told him, ‘I’m here for you always.’ I don’t want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. No one’s ever going to be Brad to me.” Goreski said he broke the news to Zoe a month...

After nearly two years as head styling assistant for Rachel Zoe, Brad Goreski has decided to leave the Zoe camp in order to pursue other career path, People reports. Goreski joined the stylist-to-the-stars and her team in 2008 as then-lead styling assistant Taylor Jacobson's apprentice. Upon Jacobson's acrimonious departure from both Bravo's The Rachel Zoe Project and the company itself, Goreski was quickly promoted and could be seen hitting the runways with Zoe. The break-up was entirely civil, they claim, and Zoe makes it clear the pair will remain friends. She says: "We have a relationship that's not normal. I jump into...

After years, and many tears, with the pin thin celeb stylist, Brad is leaving the nest to begin his own styling career!
Bad news for fans of everyone’s favorite Canadian stylist — Brad Goreski is leaving Rachel Zoe! In a statement to People Brad said, “I love Rachel and she’s taught me everything I know, but there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.” You go and soar Brad!
The split, which is said to be amicable, happened roughly a month ago according to the report and Brad will be leaving Oct. 1. The chummy twosome was, however, very much apart during New York Fashion Week earlier this month, not being photographed or even spotted together much.
According to Naughty but Nice Rob at Popeater, an insider had told him, “Fashion week was definitely the turning point.

The new design director at Rachel Zoe says he wishes his former friend ‘all the luck in the world!’
Despite the drama that is presented weekly on The Rachel Zoe Project, Brad Goreski has nothing but respect for fired coworker Taylor Jacobson. HollywoodLife.com spoke with Brad at the Monique Lhuillier show and he said of his former gal pal, “I hear shes doing really really well and I think that’s great. I wish her all the luck in the world.”
Brad could not, however, offer much as to what Taylor is up to these days, saying he has not seen her of late. He also did not get into any of the details surrounding her firing, though as we reported back in July there were rumors she had stolen client Kate Beckinsale from the company.

Today at the Monique Lhuillier show at Fashion Week, Perrey Reeves sat front row and discussed possible Entourage spoilers, while The Rachel Zoe Project's Brad Goreski dished on ex-coworker Taylor Jacobson. But the talk of the tents was definitely reigning movie queen Milla Jovovich, and a certain body part that one attendee says is downright "alien." We caught Perrey front and center at the show, where she gushed over the dresses, asking which one she "gets to wear first." She also told us what it was like to play Ari Gold's long suffering nameless wife. "Did you see last night? I left him!" she said. "I love playing Ari's wife! I love my job, I can't...

The third season of Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project premiered last week on Bravo and fans immediately noticed two big changes – Rachel Zoe’s previous assistant Taylor Jacobson is gone and Brad Goreski has been promoted to her former position.
One other thing is new as well: while Goreski, 32, has always been undeniably good-looking, it’s been in a boyish, preppy, dare one say, geeky way. In fact, Goreski might have been most well-known for the ubiquitous bow ties he always wore.
But the bow ties are gone, at least at a party Goreski is attending in late July to promote the new season of The Rachel Zoe Project. Instead, Goreski is wearing a shiny (but not too shiny) blue suit from a designer named Spur along with a skinny blue tie. Instead of looking quite so boyish as in the past, Goreski looks edgier, refined, even sexier. The look suits him well.

HollywoodNews.com: ‘The Rachel Zoe Project’ opened up this season with some big drama involving a former employee and claims that she was stealing from the company.
Taylor Jacobson was accused of stealing samples that the company has received from designers for various clients, but now Jacobson is opening up about what she claims happened, reports Entertainment Weekly. The former employee calls the whole situation “way too high school.”
Jacobson also claims she has no reason to steal the samples because she’s “not a sample size at all” and is friends with people in PR, so she would never want to harm those working relationships.
The stylist is blaming the backlash on the show’s desire for ratings, but feels lucky to not have felt it affect her work much, for now.

On Wednesday morning, I recapped the season three premiere of Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project and decried how the producers of the show — and Rachel Zoe and hubby Rodger — had treated former star/styling associate/Head of Product Development Taylor Jacobson. (The subtitle of my post was “R.I.P. to the defense-less Taylor Jacobson.”) It seemed so unfair. Honestly, it’s mind-blowing that a television show can get away with so dragging someone’s name through the mud — making veiled references to her possibly stealing money and clothes from the company — without giving her a chance for rebuttal.

Buckle up, kids! We’ve got a whole week’s worth of reality to repeat including the return of Project Runway (sorry, I missed the first week), more Real World icky shenanigans (remember when the kids used to get drunk and mess around instead of this stuff?), plus the return of Brad Goreski, er, Rachel Zoe!
Project Runway
Mondo (left) and Nicholas (auf'd)
Having little fashion sense but hard crushes on saucy Amazon Heidi Klum and the sublimely delightful Tim Gunn, it is with great pleasure that I welcome back Runway! As you know from our very own snicks, there are seven delightful gays amongst the seventeen contestants. These, my friends, are good odds.
I’d like to begin by putting a twenty on Mondo to win. Okay, so Gretchen has swept the first two competitions, and our first gay casualty, Nicholas, was auf weidersehen’ed right off the catwalk.

During the Season 3 premiere of The Rachel Zoe Project, Taylor Jacobson was fired by — or left, depending on who you believe — Rachel Zoe. In her wake, adorable, formerly bowtie-clad assistant Brad Goreski was promoted to style director and immediately handed a major Harper's Bazaar cover shoot with Demi Moore, a giraffe and some armadillo shoes. As you can see, he handled it masterfully.

Taylor Jacobson is a curious star of the first episode of Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project. Curious because Zoe’s former styling associate—and the most interesting thing about the reality show for the show’s first two seasons — does not appear on screen once in the first hour of the current season premiere last night, except for in a few, ripped-from-the-archives flashbacks. But she’s the main event simply because she’s the only thing the rest of the employees of Rachel Zoe, Inc. — and, apparently, the rest of the world who’s interested in the Zoe frivolity — can focus on.

After watching the Season 3 premiere of "The Rachel Zoe Project," you may be struck by just how much more forceful Rachel Zoe's husband, Rodger Berman, comes off compared to previous seasons.
"I think this season you'll get to see it more," Zoe tells Zap2it on a recent press call. "I would say a lot more actually. But, it's really good. He's very strong. You know he's kind of like that silent strong, but this season he's not so silent."
We saw the first hints of it last season when he assumed more control over Rachel Zoe, Inc. In the premiere, though, and especially in the storyline involving Taylor Jacobson's departure from the company, Berman takes a very forceful lead.
"Rodger and I have been together for 18 years," Zoe says. "Rodger sort of sometimes stays on the sidelines and those people who are really close to him are...

Rachel Zoe on Taylor Jacobson, 'There's a difference between being supposedly fired and being fired'
In the Season 3 premiere episode of "The Rachel Zoe Project," we finally hear what led to Taylor Jacobson's abrupt departure last November from the Rachel Zoe camp.
Well, at least we heard Zoe's side of things. In the episode, Zoe and her husband, Rodger Berman, accuse Taylor of pilfering designer samples and trying to sabotage coworker, Brad Goreski.
In an interview with TV Guide, Jacobson stayed pretty tight lipped, though she did comment on whether she left the company of her own accord.
"There are always two sides to a story," Jacobson says. "I don't know anyone who hasn't been supposedly fired by Rachel -- just investigate her past with clients and assistants."
During a press call Tuesday (July 27), Zap2it asked Zoe about Jacobson's statement that she has a record of employees leaving her, including Jacobson, and then falsely calling those departures terminations.

This is bananas! Fans of "The Rachel Zoe Project" love (or love to hate) Rachel Zoe's always grumpy right-hand girl Taylor Jacobson, who was basically too cool for everything Zoe did. We were all shocked in November when Jacobson announced (via Twitter, obviously) that she was leaving Rachel Zoe, Inc.
It was rumored that Taylor was fired because designer clothes started going missing from Zoe's closets. Of course, Zoe's other assistant, Brad Goreski, was in charge of keeping track of those clothes. Was Tay swiping the clothes to sabotage Goreski?
"That was so real that I cannot even tell you how real that actually was," Zoe tells Wwd."It was like, I hired Brad, this little angel, and then Taylor just went in for the kill. And I, like, did not see that coming. I always knew what she was capable of, but who knew that was going to happen with the camera?...

We already know that The Rachel Zoe Project is a treat worthy of comparisons to classic cinema. It's bananas, guys. But bad news: The funnest and funniest part of the Bravo series is now a part of the deep, deep past too. The hilarious relationship between Rachel and her former assistant Taylor Jacobson has been off for awhile but Rachel just made a comment that proves she's really over it. In fact, she hates Taylor now. What becomes of the broken-hearted, Andy Cohen?!

Rachel Zoe fans, get ready to die. Well, not literally. "The Rachel Zoe Project" is returning to Bravo this August.
The celebrity stylist, all-around fashionista, and modern lexicon contributor who is regularly shutting it down is back with the third season of her hit reality show. According to Entertainment Weekly, it premieres on Tuesday, August 3rd.
In the new season, longtime styling associate Taylor Jacobson is out, while Brad Goreski is in as Zoe expands her celebrity styling business into a full-fledged brand, including an affordable collection that'll be sold on QVC (nothing retails for over 0).
But Rachel Zoe continues to help dress A-listers. This season, Gwen Stefani, Demi Moore, and Molly Sims all stop by. Johnny Weir is also set to make an appearance.

Ashley Avignone is Rachel Zoe’s new assistant— but will she be able to fill Taylor’s shoes??
The day has finally come! Rachel Zoe hired a new assistant to take over for her former right hand, Taylor Jacobson— and it’s La stylist Ashley Avignone! Can you believe it? I could Die! Hearing the news makes me even more excited for the third season of The Rachel Zoe Project— although I’m skeptical about the new girl being able to live up to the infamous ‘Tay’ (as Rachel calls her). Who can we depend on for obnoxious comments? Who’s going to console Rach when she’s having a meltdown? Who will tell Brad how ridiculous he looks in his bowtie’s and short shorts? And for my final burning question— what will Rachel call her?! Somehow ‘Ash’ doesn’t roll off the tounge the same way ‘Tay’ did.

I can't say that I'm the biggest reality TV freak on the planet, but one show I always look forward to is The Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo. A lot of that fascination is not only because of the teeny-tiny Rachel herself, but also her tortured assistants, Taylor Jacobson and Brad Goreski. These three, along with Rachel's husband, Rodger, make up one of fashion's most lovably dysfunctional families.
Taylor is possibly the most non-people-person ever to appear on a reality show, and the bow-tied Brad is the guy I'd most like to have as a girlfriend. He's upbeat and funny, which is the exact opposite of the broody Taylor. But together, they somehow make it work, as Tim Gunn would say. Or as Rachel might say, they're "a soldier of rising above it all" (Ok, she was talking about herself with that comment, but still ... ).Continue reading The Rachel Zoe Project...
