False reports of a shooting at the Memphis rapper GloRilla’s Rochester, New York, concert at Main Street Armory theater resulted in a stampede that left one attendee dead and nine others injured on Sunday evening, according to Associated Press.
While “no evidence to support a shooting having occurred” was found, Rochester police lieutenant Nicholas Adams told ABC News, “the injuries appear to be as a result of a large crowd pushing towards the exits following accounts of individuals hearing what they believed to be gunshots.”

Fresh off of working with Erin Moriarty of The Boys and Jamie Campbell Bower of Stranger Things on the horror film True Haunting, Harriet Slater – who is probably best known at this point for playing the role of Sandra Onslow on 19 episodes of the Pennyworth TV series – has signed on to join Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: No Way Home) in the cast of the Screen Gems horror movie Horrorscope. The news of Slater’s casting was first reported by Deadline.
Based on a 1992 novel by Nicholas Adams, Horrorscope also stars Alana Boden (I Am Elizabeth Smart), Adain Bradley (Wrong Turn: The Foundation), Avantika (Senior Year), Humberly González (Ginny & Georgia), Wolfgang Novogratz (The Last Summer), Olwen Fouéré (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and Larsen Thompson (The Midnight Club).

Despite everything "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" has going for it — a talented ensemble led by Morfyyd Clark's fearsome (but refreshingly flawed!) Galadriel, an exorbitant budget that puts actual blockbuster movies to shame, and license to play around in one of the most fully fleshed-out fantasy worlds ever created — one major aspect has held the new series back somewhat from greatness. As opposed to "The Fellowship of the Ring," which began by focusing on a small group of heroes in one location before steadily spiraling outwards, the first season of "The Rings of Power" has been structured to juggle multiple different storylines with dozens of major characters, all scattered across several different (and far-flung) settings.

Doing press for “Fire Island” has been quite an emotional experience for James Scully, who plays Bowen Yang’s love interest in director Andrew Ahn’s new queer rom-com written by and starring Joel Kim Booster.
“I have had these out of body moments where I’m like, remember when you thought you were going to have to pretend to be straight your whole life?” Scully tells me. “Remember when you thought that you were just going to have to find a really patient woman and marry her and just do the best that you could to make it work?”
“Fire Island” is an LGBTQ take on Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.” The all-queer cast also includes Matt Rogers, Margaret Cho, Conrad Ricamora, Tomás Matos, Torian Miller, Nick Adams and Zane Phillips. It takes place in the titular getaway, a vacation spot outside of New York City that has...

When Jonathan Hillman was growing up in rural Wisconsin, he says he frequently felt “small.” He was a boy in a family of dirt track racers who played with Barbies, who would pull his turtleneck up over his head to make a pretend wig when he was playing with the kid down the street. Like many queer kids, he was often bullied, so dress-up and performance were a kind of refuge for him. “It made me feel bigger,” he recalls.
Fast-forward to 2018, when Hillman was brainstorming ideas for children’s books at his Mfa program.

A spectacle of unimaginable proportions has taken over the Palace theater! Sure, if you're looking for cultural gravitas, see Thomas Stoppard's "Arcadia" (opening March 17 at the Barrymore).
