- Originally auditioned for the role for Billy Conway in Accidents Happen (2009) but asked director Andrew Lancaster for an audition for Larry as he was much more interested in that role. Lancaster thought that he suited the role of Larry Conway much better and gave him the part.
- Auditioned for the role of Archie Cox for the feature film Caught Inside (2010) although the requirement was to be able to surf professionally and Harry could not. Director Adam Blaiklock was so impressed by Harry's screen test that he hired a stunt-double and edited the script to book him for the role.
- Gained 15kgs for the role of Larry Conway in Accidents Happen (2009) then lost it all off for his next role that same year as Archie Cox in the feature film Caught Inside (2010).
- Was spotted by a writer of IF magazine and was asked to audition for the the younger Leonardo DiCaprio role in the later doomed Alexander The Great-project which was due to be Directed by Baz Luhrmann.

- Was given an engraved dog-tag necklace from Geena Davis when they wrapped filming for Accidents Happen (2009) which he wore on the red carpet at the World Premiere of the film in New York.
- Finished working on play 'Russetts' at the Corpus Playroom in Cambridge England and while on a weekend holiday in Rome, found out that he had been offered the role of Meat in Drown (2015). He flew back to Australia shortly after to begin shooting.
- Began working out 5 days a week for his role in Drown (2015) and took to a strict protein diet.
- Was considered for the role of Woodchuck Todd in Easy A (2010). The role later went to Penn Badgley.

- Was considered for the role of Craig in It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010). The part later went to Keir Gilchrist.
