Tony Stef'Ano
- Actor
- Producer
- Executive
Like many others; Entertainment has always been a passion for Tony
Stef'Ano, even as a child. Born and raised on Detroit's upper west side
Warren-Anthony Stef'Ano has accomplished many things in his early
career. It was apparent that he was destined to be a star when he
earned a small feature role on the hit TV show Sesame Street, later
followed by a spot on a Toys R Us commercial all at the very young age
of 5. After completing his first drama class at the age of 11, Warren
got his first supporting role as The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz.
Though it was a great experience he decided to take a break from the
stage and pursue singing lessons and joined the school choir and
participated in several concerts. After two years Tony decided to
return to the stage and continue his drama classes. While at Mumford
High School, he received his first lead role as Walter Lee Younger in A
Raison in the Sun, and other roles such as The Giant in Jack and the
Beanstalk, and Maleficent in Disney's version of Sleeping Beauty all
being school plays. Among other students, Tony was given the assignment
to write a play, direct it, and star in it. Did he ever rise to the
occasion? He wrote a script entitled Jealous Royalty and portrayed
Prince Eric Von'Amburg an alcoholic Prince who was jealous of his
brother because he was crowned King instead of him. This was the launch
of his writing career. At the end of the class, Tony received several
awards, one for Best Lead Actor for A Raison in the Sun, Best Play
Write for Jealous Royalty, and for Best Villain/Vixen for Sleeping
Beauty, which brought him great praise from his peers and teachers.
Since high school, Tony has had small roles in local plays and one
major role as Shakespeare's Othello and was a feature audience member
in the movie 61* directed by Billy Crystal. He also attended Specs
Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, Michigan where he graduated
valedictorian. Now, ever the opportunist Tony focuses more on
continuing building his company Sleep Tight Entertainment which he
founded in 2003. Primarily a music production and film production
company that will later be followed by several subsidiary companies
including but not limited to a chain of night clubs, clothing line, two
non-profits, a magazine, and a school for entertainment, law, and
medicine. As an ambitious creator/writer he has also written five
screenplays and eight more under way. In the past year and a half Tony
has accomplished many things that most people can only dream of
accomplishing. First making the connection with and being consulted by
Larry Dee. As result of that connection Tony has gained a wealth of
knowledge and continues to grow both in business and spiritually. He
has secured world wide theater, DVD, and CD distribution as well as
forming partnerships with other film production companies in both India
and Romania, and is now searched for by name on the most popular search
engines. Presently, Tony is negotiating a multi-million dollar deal
that will fund several feature films and re-establish Sleep Tight
Entertainment's music division. Two of those projects being "Figure"
and "The Darkening," both are creating quite a buzz throughout the
industry. Tony is definitely accomplishing phenomenal things and is not
done yet. Never being one to use clichés, but this is only the
beginning for him.
