Aram Avagyan is a well-known Armenian composer, performer, and songwriter who lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Avagyan was born in the small town of Vayk in southern Armenia. He developed an early affinity for music at the age of 7, when he began to learn piano. At the tender age of 11, Aram began writing his own music and songs. Following high school graduation, Avagyan moved to Yerevan, Armenia's capital, to study at its renowned Jazz College. He graduated with honors, then served two years in the military. After fulfilling his patriotic duty, Avagyan worked at the Armenian Theater of Song as a singer and songwriter.
Avagyan went on to perform numerous concerts in Armenia, Russia, Iran, and the United States. Soon, his talents began to be recognized internationally, as he became the recipient of awards for original songs in various competitions. He was also named the best composer of the Armenian Music Awards for two years straight.
Aram Avagyan has worked with and has written and produced music for many well-known artists. As the founder of "Young Idols," a music production company, Avagyan helps the aspiring musicians to reach their full potential and navigate the music industry. Today, Avagyan continues to write and produce songs for artists, commercials and movies.
