Alison Tafel is a Colorado born writer and actor, currently a co-producer on the action-comedy series Twisted Metal for Peacock. In 2020, Alison served as a monologue and sketch writer/performer for THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON. Alison also wrote for three seasons on the Netflix series BOJACK HORSEMAN, with her episode "The View From Halfway Down" earning her an EMMY nomination for BEST ANIMATED COMEDY SERIES. Alison was also nominated for an Annie Award for BEST WRITING ON A TV SERIES for her BoJack episode "Feel-Good Story." She was a semi-finalist for the HUMANITAS NEW VOICES AWARD for her pilot "A Little Much," and in 2016, she was one of six writers selected from 1100 applications to attend the NBC LATE NIGHT COMEDY WRITERS WORKSHOP. Alison has trained and performed with Second City Chicago, Upright Citizens Brigade Los Angeles, Improv Olympic Chicago and The Groundlings. She resides in Toluca Lake with her husband and two cats.
