Kevin Stoehr(I)
Kevin L. Stoehr was born in Portland, Maine. He is the co-author (with Mary Lea Bandy) of "Ride, Boldly Ride: The Evolution of the American Western" (University of California Press, 2012) and the author of "Nihilism in Film and Television: From 'Citizen Kane' to 'The Sopranos'". Among other publications, he is the editor of "Film and Knowledge: Essays on the Integration of Images and Ideas" (McFarland & Co., 2002) and the co-editor (with Michael Connelly) of "John Ford in Focus: Essays on the Filmmaker's Life and Work" (McFarland & Co., 2008). He received his A.B. in philosophy from Bowdoin College (1990) and his M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from Boston University (1997). He teaches as Associate Professor of Humanities at Boston University.
