- Hana Vraniqi was born in Virovitica, Croatia, to Biljana (Tomasevic) Vraniqi, an art historian, and Xhemil Jimmy Vraniqi, an actor and director, both originally from Former Yugoslavia. Hana is now based in Auckland, New Zealand. She is an actor with a proud European background. As well as acting, Hana has been lending her talents in modelling, dance and singing.
Prior to settling in Melbourne, Australia in 2009, Hana only recently has returned to Auckland. Her original country was Former Yugoslavia. She moved to New Zealand after the Kosovo crisis in November 1999. Her immediate family is still in Auckland, New Zealand where at the age of 15 Hana became reacquainted with the craft of acting at Selwyn College Performing Arts. From there on she pursued her training and has been successful in landing lead roles in theater as well as film and TV productions.
Acting has always been a part of her life. Unfortunately, coming from a war torn country, now Kosovo, her journey has had it's fair share of obstacles, which often got in the way of her successfully pursuing her career. Hana graduated in 2009 from the University Of Auckland, New Zealand in Major Spanish and Minor French. They make up two of the five languages she speaks. Hana is fluent in Albanian, Serbo/Croatian and English. Hana trained in a variety of dance styles and have attended singing lessons that resulted in a few recordings. She grew up in a dynamic, multicultural environment with Serbo/Croatian being her mother tongue and Albanian, her father's language. The language skills she developed from an early age, combined with her friendly and outgoing nature have equipped Hana with a strong ability to adapt and connect with characters of all different backgrounds.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous

- When auditioning for Cult Girls, Hana had one line in the whole movie, however the director Mark Bakaitis was so impressed by her performance that he ended up casting her in a much bigger role as Auntie Ugne.
- Hana also worked as a presenter for Channel 31 hosting the variety show called Behind the Words.
- It is possible that Hana will play the romantic lead in the comedy film 'Canned' by Samuel Wheeler, a NZ based director and producer. She will be acting alongside Jonathan Brugh who played Deacon in 'What We Do in the Shadows'.
