"You ready for this?" Neon + YouTube Premium have debuted a fantastic new official red band trailer for Joseph Kahn's film Bodied, a highly acclaimed, foul-mouthed, provocative film about a young, nerdy white kid who decides to join the rap battle scene. It's a very bold, outspoken satire about racism and the artistry in rapping, and how we need to open our eyes and gain more perspectives. Calum Worthy stars as Adam, with a cast including Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, Ryan Ochoa, Daffany McGaray Clark, Charlamagne tha God, Loaded Lux, Dizaster, Dumbfoundead, and Hollow Da Don. This comedy is produced by Eminem, with a script co-written by Toronto rapper Alex Larsen (aka Kid Twist). I saw this earlier in the year and it's awesome; an extra loud, totally hilarious, and impressive film. Check it out below. Here's the new red band trailer (+ official posters) for Joseph Kahn's Bodied, direct...

"Words are weapons!" Tiff has dropped a trailer for a film premiering at the fest this fall in the Midnight category. Titled Bodied, from director Joseph Kahn, the film is about a white graduate student who gets deep into the battle rap world to write his thesis. He ends up discovering he has a competitive obsession with battle rap. This seems like it might be a perfect double feature with Patti Cake$ also from this year. Calum Worthy stars as Adam, with a cast including Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, Ryan Ochoa, Daffany McGaray Clark, Charlamagne tha God, Loaded Lux, Dizaster, Dumbfoundead, and Hollow Da Don. This film is produced by Eminem, with a script co-written by Toronto rapper Alex Larsen (aka Kid Twist). This trailer is hilarious, and it grabbed my attention, I'm so down for this. Bring it. Here's the first festival trailer for Joseph Kahn's Bodied,...

Rosie O’Donnell as Rita and Tom Phelan as Cole in The Fosters
ABC Family has quickly become one of the best networks on television for finding a variety of Lgbt characters in shows like massive hit Pretty Little Liars, where gay teen Emily (Shay Mitchell) is front and center.
We knew the network’s latest entry The Fosters, from out creators Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg, was breaking new ground when it premiered last summer and featured a household headed by a lesbian couple, played by Teri Polo and Sherri Saum. But since coming back for the second half of its first season, the series has added a trans teen to the mix.
In the current storyline, troubled teen Callie (Maia Mitchell) has been placed in group home (run by Rosie O’Donnell). There she befriends Cole, a trans boy with his own set of problems and issues.

"The Fosters" is getting a spinoff! Well, sort of. The ABC Family drama is getting its very own web series, which will focus on the group girls' home where foster kid Callie (Maia Mitchell) is now living.
On the show, Rosie O'Donnell plays Rita, the group home leader, but she won't appear in "The Fosters: Girls United." Instead, the web series will follow Callie and the other girls in the home, played by Daffany Clark, Cherinda Kincherlow, Annamarie Kenoyer, Alicia Sixtos, Hayley Kiyoko and Angela Gibbs, when one of the girls goes missing.
"It's completely different. It's like its own pilot, almost," star Cierra Ramirez tells Zap2it of the group home scenes during a recent visit to the show's Los Angeles set.
Mitchell described her co-stars in the group home as "amazing" during an interview before the season premiere. "I don't know where they found these girls, but the acting is amazing,...
