Adam Harrison, the son of Pawn Stars regular Rick Harrison, died at the age of 29 on January 19, and now coroners have confirmed the official cause of death. As reported by Fox News Digital, Clark County Nevada coroners determined Adam passed away from an accidental overdose due to “fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity.” Rick had previously told the news outlet that fentanyl was responsible for his son’s death and urged the United States authorities and lawmakers to take the “fentanyl crisis” more seriously. “Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Rick told Fox News Digital in January. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.” TMZ was the first to report Adam’s passing, noting that he was struggling in the days leading up to his death.

Oscar-winning John Wayne was one of the biggest stars ever to work in Hollywood, which made sellers on Pawn Stars believe that they could make good money from his memorabilia. In the spirit of the reality television show, many items aren’t valued at the price that they’re thinking. However, Wayne’s son, Ethan, himself showed up as an expert in what fans are calling the best guest appearance ever in an odd Rio Grande dealing.

Pawn Stars attracted several pieces of Wayne memorabilia, although they didn’t all attract the same level of attention. Surprisingly, a senior-year high school yearbook earned $800 for the seller to take a nice vacation with. It highlighted the various extracurricular activities that he filled his time with over the course of his adolescence.

“Let’s go have a ball all over the country!” was self-described “super nerd” Rick Harrison’s reaction when History proposed a road trip spinoff of Pawn Stars, the hit about his family-owned Las Vegas business. Along for the ride in Pawn Stars Do America, premiering tonight, November 9, are familiar faces from the show, his son Corey and Corey’s childhood pal Austin “Chumlee” Russell, both World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop employees and practical jokers. In eight different cities, the formula is the same: Set up shop and haggle. In tonight’s Pawn Stars Do America, sellers pack a Denver event space (150 to 300 people typically show up in what Harrison calls “semi-organized chaos”), where historical experts help the pawn pros vet objects from a Roman cauldron handle to JFK signatures and determine worth. Plus, Corey and Chumlee visit a literal gold mine — each two-hour episode features a local field trip.
