John Trefry is a writer/producer and two-time alum of both SXSW and Tribeca. His narrative work includes "Souls of Totality" starring Tatiana Maslany and Tom Cullen which won 13 awards including winning 3 Oscar-qualifying festivals. His film "How To Be Alone" starred Maika Monroe and Joey Keery and premiered at SXSW. John co-wrote 5150 with Denzel Whitaker which stars Jovan Adepo and was executive produced by David Oyelowo.
In terms of nonfiction original content, John was a producer for "The Need To Grow" narrated by Rosario Dawson and "Five Years North" which won the Grand Jury award at DOC NYC.
John founded the award-winning production company 4WT Media and has a passion for storytelling that creates social change and impact and continues to explore ways to bridge the gap between branded and original content. 4WT has an impressive client list including Google, Netflix, Mircosoft and many other exciting brands.
