The cause of the fire was likely the people who were after Milena Jovanovic (played by Riley Voelkel), an undercover cop that Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard) was hiding in Halstead’s building.
But maybe the bad guys just happened to be there at...

The upcoming eighth season of Chicago Med is expanding its cast as Sasha Roiz, who was recently in 9-1-1, and Lilah Richcreek Estrada (Grace and Frankie) are joining the hit medical drama. According to Deadline, Roiz will portray Jack Egan, a multimillionaire renaissance man, while Estrada will play Nellie Cuevas, a psych fellow working alongside Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt). Both actors will be appearing as recurring guest stars throughout Season 8, which is set to premiere Wednesday, September 21 at 8 p.m on NBC. The series aired its seventh season finale on May 25, 2022, which saw Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard) and Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) trapped in a burning building after helping undercover cop Jo (Riley Voelkel). This scenario sets the groundwork for a potential crossover with Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., which also premiere on September 21. Roiz is best known for playing Sam Adama in the sci-fi series...

The Originals has been off the air for over four years, but the popularity of the world established in The Vampire Diaries reigns today.
The second spinoff series, Legacies, got canceled after four seasons, and fans have been clamoring for it to be saved.
We're here to take a look at the Originals, and what the actors are doing now!
Leah Pipes -- Camille O'Connell
Camille was a human bartender who got turned into a vampire by Aurora de Martel before being killed by Lucien.

Before the originals, she had the occasional guest role in many different teen-centered series, like Glee.
After the Originals, Pipes appeared in the occasional feature film, along with a guest role on 9-1-1.

Exclusive: Garret Dillahunt (Army of the Dead), Jeanine Serralles (Utopia), Kaya Rosenthal (The Time Traveler’s Wife), Michael Drayer (Mr. Robot), newcomer Ellie Barone and Taja V. Simpson (The Oval) have signed on for recurring roles in the third season of Starz’s crime drama, Hightown.
Created by Rebecca Cutter (Gotham), Hightown is set in the beautiful but bleak world of Cape Cod, watching as Jackie Quiñone’s (Monica Raymund) journey to sobriety is overshadowed by a murder investigation dragging her into its fold. “Roswell, New Mexico” returns for its final season premiere on Monday night, and it’s bringing an old friend back into the fold — at least temporarily. Max Evans’ old partner and friend Jenna Cameron is back, and she needs his help solving what very well may be a crime committed by aliens.
Of course, this time around, Jenna Cameron (Riley Voelkel) is actually Agent Cameron, having taken a job with the FBI. But to be fair, she’s not the only one with a new title. Max (Nathan Dean Parsons) has one too; he’s currently the sheriff of Roswell (even if only in the interim). Their banter is as strong as ever, as Jenna needles Max by informing him that she only took the job “so I could outrank you, Evans.”

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Chicago Med Season 7 finale, “And Now We Come to the End.”] Chicago Med may have just set up a crossover with Fire to kick off Season 8. After all, two doctors end the seventh season trapped in a fire, and unless Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard), who was previously a cop, has added firefighting to his résumé, they’re going to need some help. Dylan turned to Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) to help undercover cop Jo (Riley Voelkel) hide out before it’s safe for her to skip town. (Good thing not much of Will’s apartment building is actually ready for tenants.) Because she was unsure who she could trust, Jo gave Dylan her covert wire device — with recorded conversations and police reports of busts where less money and drugs were recovered than were supposed to be there from her op — to perhaps help determine the identity of a...

Joseph Morgan played Klaus Mikaelson to perfection for seven years across The Vampire Diaries and its spinoff, The Originals.
Recent social media posts have left fans wondering whether he will appear in the forthcoming series finale of Legacies following its cancellation.
The third series in The Vampire Diaries Universe has featured plenty of faces from the past, and fans have been begging for more Klaus content since The Originals Season 5 Episode 13.
If you watch The Originals online, you know Klaus was killed off in the final scene of the New Orleans-set drama.
Morgan took to social media Wednesday to address the speculation.
“First of all, I haven’t seen any cast from the Tvdu in years, not in person at least, I promise you that,” Morgan tweeted.
“All this speculation is gonna drive you crazy."
"Let go of these nonsense theories about hidden codes, Everyone knows Klaus Mikaelson is dead.

“Legacies” is coming to an end at The CW after four seasons, TheWrap has learned.
The Season 4 finale is set to air on June 16. The end of the series also means the conclusion of the network’s “Vampire Diaries” franchise, at least for now.
Set in The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted, and within “The Vampire Diaries” universe, The CW’s “Legacies” debuted in 2018. The show tells the ongoing story of a new generation of supernatural students as they learn what it means to be special in a society that wouldn’t understand their gifts.
The series stars Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson, Jenny Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman, the now-exited Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman, Quincy Fouse as Milton “Mg” Greasley, Aria Shahghasemi as Landon Kirby, Peyton Alex Smith as Rafael, Chris Lee as Kaleb, Leo Howard as Ethan Mac and Ben Levin as Jed, with Matthew Davis as Alaric Saltzman.

Leslie calls Renee to a meeting. Jackie accompanies Leslie, and Renee is immediately concerned about what the two women want.
Renee was an informant at one point, and Leslie tries to act like Renee did the department such a big favor.
Renee is too smart and knows they are both after something else, and she doesn't want to betray Frankie in the process.
The trajectory of the conversation changes the moment Leslie says they want Jorge.
Jorge has been getting under Renee's skin since his arrival on Hightown Season 2 Episode 1, so of course she would love nothing more than to see his downfall.
The series continues to impress with its compelling characters, some of the most well-written on the small screen.

Hope Mikaelson’s days have been numbered since long before Legacies began, but we never could have predicted the path she’d take to get there — nor the people she’d encounter along the way.
Thursday’s episode, which was technically written to be the penultimate hour of Season 3, significantly sped up the clock on Hope’s inevitable transition into a full-blown tribrid by pitting her against a new Malivore monster. And not just any monster. This one turned out to be a Mystic Falls High School student named Blake, though she didn’t know that until after she impaled him through the heart.

Another Mikaelson is making their way back to Mystic Falls.
Claire Holt, who played Rebekah on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals is set to appear in a new episode of Legacies next month.
According to TV Line, the episode will find Rebekah trying to get through to Hope after tracking her down.
“Hope is tracked down by the one person who could help her — Rebekah Mikaelson,” reads the episode’s official synopsis.
“Rebekah is fearful of what path Hope has chosen but makes every effort to get through to her."
"Josie and Lizzie hold out hope in a seemingly dire situation as Mg figures out what he can do to help. Meanwhile, Kaleb wants to set things right and turns to Cleo for guidance."
This development is especially intriguing because The CW unveiled a poster that declared "Hope Must Die," ahead of last week's season premiere.

Monica Raymund returns with Hightown Season 2 on Sunday and while her character Jackie Quiñonez is in an infinitely better position than last season, it’s too early to tell if she can stay on the straight and narrow.
“At the top of Season 2, she’s got some days of sobriety under her belt and she’s working for the police department. She’s finally starting things off on the right foot,” Raymund tells Deadline at the Starz drama’s premiere on Saturday. “She has a new partner name Leslie Babcock [Tonya Glanz] and they’re the only two women on the police task force—two girls in a room full of men. So they get very close.”
On the dating front, Jackie is not necessarily on the prowl as we saw her in Season 1 but she’s certainly open to meeting new people.
“Yeah, she’s going to be mixing a little work with pleasure,...

It's been a long year without Hightown.
The thrilling Starz drama is back!
We watched the first four episodes, and it features everything that made the inaugural season a success and more.
We got to chat with cast members Riley Voelkel (Renee), Amaury Nolasco (Frankie), Don Norwood (Al), Atkins Estimond (Oscito), Monica Raymond (Jackie), and James Badge Dale (Ray), as well as creator Rebecca Perry Cutter and EP Gary Lennon.
Hightown Season 2 gets off the ground running, with the characters in very different places than before.
With Frankie out of prison, we get to see a different layer of his and Renee's relationship, something that both Voelkel and Nolasco are happy about.
There's also some drama on the horizon for them because Frankie's cousin Jorge (Luis Guzman) is also on the scene, creating a lot of conflicts.
"He is the older cousin who Frankie really loves. And they obviously have a ton of history together,...

When Hightown returns for Season 2, Jackie will have one less thing holding her back.
Season 1 ended with her DUI charges officially dropped, allowing the National Marine Fisheries Service agent to move forward with her life and focus on staying sober. The new season, which premieres this Sunday at 9/8c on Starz, will see her determined to make the best of her second chance as she takes on the emerging crisis of a lethal new drug, called the Great White, sweeping through the Cape.
