Working with Basketball Operations, Hellmuth leads the technical development of the Replay Center and its integration in NBA telecasts and content.
Under Hellmuth's direction, the NBA installed SportVU Player Tracking technology for the 2013-14 NBA season in every venue, making the NBA the first major U.S. professional sports league to quantify and analyze player movement in live-game action throughout an entire season.
Hellmuth was production manager for Super Bowl XX, produced the Emmy-nominated opening telecasts for the 1986 World Series, and coordinated the production of Olympic profiles for the 1980 Moscow games.
