Documentaries about horror movies are some of my favourite things to watch. Over ten years ago I watched the brilliant Zombie Girl: The Movie, the story of a twelve-year-old Emily Hagins making a zombie movie. Just reading about Sam and Mattie Make A Zombie Movie gave me similar vibes so I was looking forward to checking it out.
This documentary follows two friends with Down’s Syndrome, Sam and Mattie, who rally an entire town and more to help them make the zombie movie of their dreams – Spring Break Zombie Massacre.
The documentary is done in two parts. The first shows the process of how the idea of the movie came about, how they promoted...

In a world where there are a lot of indie filmmakers doing it wrong, it's refreshing when it's done right.
Now, I'm not talking about film quality or tired stories etc. I'm talking about old fashioned "We actually give a shit about our fans and want them to know." It's about the little things.
Running a horror website for over seven years in the red with no steady income stream generated by the site can get quite discouraging. What makes it worse is when filmmakers and producers feel they are gracing you with their film and doing you a favor by "letting you" watch their movie's, forgetting that the professional rout is to offer a screener for review consideration.
Here at MoreHorror we try to get to as many screeners as we can, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Sometimes, there's no real incentive, just a sense of expectation,...

Not since the Eighties has a single bit of artwork had us so pumped up for a movie. Hell, good artwork can get us to watch just about anything around these parts, and once you lay eyes on the latest one-sheet for the upcoming Sasquatchploitation flick Dear God No!, we're sure you'll agree.
Big World Pictures presents Dear God No! - a brand new biker/horror/sexploitation feature written and directed by exploitation aficionado James Anthony Bickert. Shot entirely on super 16Mm Fuji film and using equipment from the era, Dear God No! is bound to turn a few heads before tearing them the hell off. Yes. We approve.
Madeline Brumby, Jett Bryant, Paul McComiskey, and Olivia Lacroix star.
For information check out the official Dear God No! Facebook page and the official Dear God No! website.

While it seems like since Rodriguez/Tarantino’s Grindhouse, a slew of other similar styled throwback films have cluttered up our appreciation of drive-ins, James Bickert’s upcoming biker/horror film Dear God No! is going to change that, giving us a loving “lost” film in the vein of Werewolves on Wheels. Killer Film caught up with the director, who’s in post-production finishing the score and sound mix as we speak, for the low down on what should be a fan favorite soon.
Jon: If IMDb is to be believed, it’s been about 10 years since your last directed film in Troma’s Dumpster Baby. During this interval, what led to Dear God No‘s inception?
James Bickert: IMDb is correct. Dear God No! was one of many projects I had planned to do 10 years ago. It was called The Sketchy Seven and more of a biker Seven Samurai-meets-Cemetery without Crosses.
