Tomorrow sees the return of dark comedy Misfits, the fifth – and final – series of the Howard Overman-created show.
Following a group of young offenders sentenced to work community service before a freak electrical storm endows them all with superpowers, season five transports us one year on from the event and focuses on how various characters are dealing with their new lives.
Throughout the series’ run, we’ve experienced moments of ingenious comedy interspersed with gruesome deaths, more probation workers than we can count and a total cast upheaval.
The original cast – Antonia Thomas, Iwan Rheon, Lauren Socha, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Robert Sheehan as Alisha Daniels, Simon Bellamy, Kelly Bailey, Curtis Donovan, and Nathan Young, respectively, are all gone.
In their place are Joseph Gilgun as Rudy Wade along with Karla Crome, Nathan McMullen, Matt Stokoe and Natasha O’Keeffe as Jess, Finn, Alex and Abbey Smith.

We've seen a couple of live-action iterations of Dick Grayson as Robin but never as Nightwing. Quite frankly, Grayson becomes much more interesting and dynamic once he steps out of Batman's shadow. He'll often drop a funny quip or two while beating up the bad guys and then there's quite a few candidates to to chose from for a love interest. It's a little surprising we've yet to get a solo Nightwing show yet. But if that day comes anytime soon, here are five candidates to play him. Tyler Hoechlin American 25 Recognizable from: Road to Peredition (Michael Sullivan Jr.), 7th Heaven (Michael Sullivan Jr.), Teen Wolf (Derek Hale) Robert Sheehan Irish 25 Recognizable from: Misfits (Nathan Young) Harry Lloyd English 29 Recognizable from: Game of Thrones (Viserys Targaryen) Ben Barnes English 31 Recognizable from: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (Prince Caspian) Alexander Ludwig Canadian 20 Recognizable from: The Hunger Games (Cato), The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising...

Matt Tindale: leaving McM after 3 years
McM Media is restructuring in the wake of the departure of national sales director Matt Tindale.
Tindale’s position will not be replaced, and his duties will be split by market.
In Sydney, Luke Cook will take on the sales director role while Nathan Young becomes Gm of sales and operations.
Melbourne sales are led by Jeanna Manifold, who joined as sales director from Arn in Brisbane in August.
Meanwhile, McM is looking for a chief strategy and marketing officer to report directly into CEO Simon Joyce.
The new role will be responsible for ensuring the content, sales and marketing teams are aligned, and for managing the role of data across the three divisions.
Joyce said of the changes: “Over the past three years, Matt’s dedication and commitment to McM Media has been exemplary and he’s been instrumental in helping McM Media achieve success over that time.

Gentlemen, ladies and, err, more gentlemen… Ever wonder how it feels to lock eyes with pure evil? To encounter the countenance of wanton massacre? To stare at the gruesome visage of your impending doom?
Well wonder no more. This is what death looks like.
Don't believe me? Read on. Because by the end of this week's episode of Misfits, you will never think of milk (or any other dairy product) in the same way again.
Meet Brian.
Isn't he just adorable?
His daily and miserable routine involves by grabbing the bottles of milk delivered to his doorstep each morning, pouring said milk on his corn flakes and wolfing them down, then trudging over to a cafe where he gets to, you guessed it, provide milk for everyone's tea... at least I'm guessing its tea, considering it is the UK. Never speaking to anyone, he simply pours and watches customers walk away,...

Misfits Season 1 Episode 1 Review. Misfits: Season 1, Episode 1 is the beginning of a TV series is the beginning of a teens with powers TV show. Misfits is Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Smallville on steroids, with vulgarity, tawdriness, and dialogue reflexive of the real world, or the world existing in the Great Britain.
Regardless of the inherent local veniuclar, the “heroes” themselves are the draw, all delinquients yet all individuals. Their differences make their group unique, even though their group is a community service work detail.
The stand out in the group is Nathan Young (Robert Sheehan), a loud mouth that can never keep his opinion to himself, saying what many are thinking out loud. He is also the comic relief in the episode.
There is one overt and extended scene involving a water bottle and Alisha Bailey (Antonia Thomas) that could never be on American airwaves (perhaps the FX Network...
