As of this writing, there have been well over 400 WrestleMania matches since the event began back in 1985. Since then, countless WWE wrestlers (and even a couple celebrities) have battled it out in so many different ways and with quality that runs the gamut from unwatchable to undeniable. In what is supposed to be WWE’s biggest annual show, some matches fall short, but others rise to the occasion and put together some unforgettable performances.
But today we’re celebrating the very best matches WrestleMania has ever offered wrestling fans. But first, some ground rules. First, as there are so many WrestleManias to cover, we are only going to allow one entry per event. The modern shows with two nights of festivities will only count as one combined event. Second, to keep things from becoming repetitive, there will be no match redundancies. If two wrestlers battled it out in multiple WrestleManias,...

Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly… Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!
Match #1: Gunther def. Matt Riddle The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With the rest of his Imperium teammates barred from ringside, Intercontinental Champion Gunther took on Matt Riddle in a non-title match. Gunther and Riddle traded submission attempts to start the match, with Gunther applying a sleeper hold followed by a triangle hold attempt by Riddle. Riddle’s early momentum was derailed by a huge chop from The Ring General, followed by a body slam onto the mat outside of the ring. As Gunther beat down Riddle, The Original Bro withstood the punishment, attempting to get the victory after a ripcord knee. Gunther did not need Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci with him, defeating The Original Bro a huge Powerbomb.

The first Raw of the "New Era" began with a Stephanie McMahon promo and featured a feud built around the destruction of a potted plant (R.I.P., Mitch). In other words, we aren't exactly witnessing a wrestling revolution here.
And yet, coming off of Payback, a PPV that featured very little in the way of retribution (but plenty of interesting developments), last night's show still managed to rise above all the prefab talk of changing the game – and set the table for a series of compelling matches at Extreme Rules,...

[[tmz:video id="0_yjx36o7s"]] Dave Bautista says Vince McMahon "f**ked" Titus O'Neil by suspending him 60 days for touching the WWE honcho during an incident on "Raw" earlier this month ... and now he's trying to talk Titus into quitting for good. As much of the roster rallied for WWE's big trip to Singapore and Japan, there was ample room on last night's card for matches to run well past the five-minute mark. Hell, even Paige and Alicia Fox had an opportunity to showcase more than a pair of moves each before the former beat the Bellas' new Bff and scurried to safety.
And with Brock Lesnar among those en route to Asia, it meant Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns would finally get a chance to move their rivalry front and center.

Despite that enthusiastic headline, the flipside of Randy Orton's triumphant return to fan favorite last night – which concluded with his bloody head being curb-stomped into the dreaded steel stairs – all but sealed some time on the shelf so he can film The Condemned 2. But hey, if Dean Ambrose can come back from hiatus after shooting Lockdown/getting storyline-sidelined after an Authority beat-down, Randy should be able to milk the most out of returning in several weeks time.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves or dabble entirely in speculation.

'WWE Elimination Chamber' live blog: Will Randy Orton retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?
The last big stop on the road to "Wrestlemania XXX" has arrived, and it's time to determine once and for all who will main event WWE's biggest annual show. It's "WWE Elimination Chamber" and, if prior versions are any indication, it's going to be a vicious night.
Here's the card for the show:
"Elimination Chamber" match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Cesaro vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Christian)Batista vs. Alberto Del RioThe Shield vs. The Wyatt FamilyThe New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag Team ChampionshipsBig E. vs. Jack Swagger for the Intercontinental ChampionshipDarren Young vs. Titus O'NeilKickoff: Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel

It's the last big stop on the road to "Wrestlemania XXX," but who will leave "WWE Elimination Chamber" victorious? With thee title fights on the card, it should go a long way in determining what fans will see during WWE's biggest annual event.
Most of the results shouldn't be too much of a surprise, given the rumored "Wrestlemania" matches that have been floating around the internet. Let's take a look at the most likely winners.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship 'Elimination Chamber' Match
If Randy Orton doesn't walk out of "Elimination Chamber" it'll be a surprise, albeit a pleasant one. For months, Orton has been destined to face "Royal Rumble" winner Batista at "Wrestlemania," though fans have been clear about who they'd like to see as champion at the show. If Orton doesn't win, which he absolutely will, then WWE will bend to the will of the fans and...

Previously on: Daniel Bryan had no match, but John Cena got a big win over WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. The Shield and The Wyatt Family talked trash to each other, but didn't get physical.
The big news: Cena and Cesaro had a fantastic wrestling match. That's the biggest and best news out of "WWE Raw." It made them both look like major players, the crowd was into it and though Cesaro lost, he looked very strong in defeat.
After no match last week, Bryan pulled double duty on "Raw." First he earned a victory over Christian, who seemingly turned heel. Then Kane booked himself against Bryan and tore him apart, getting disqualified. The story was The Authority sent him to make sure Bryan wasn't a factor in the "Elimination Chamber" match. Both Kane and Christian focused on injuring Bryan's shoulder, so expect that to come into play.

It's time for another pay per view offering from WWE. This time, it's the inaugural "Battleground" show, which is main evented by another match between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship.
Technically this is the third outing between the two, though their bout at "SummerSlam" didn't have any actual fighting. This time there is no current WWE Champion, after Triple H stripped the belt off of Bryan following the shenanigans at "Night of Champions."
The night's other big match is a meeting between Cm Punk and Ryback. It's the latest chapter in Punk's battle with his former best friend Paul Heyman. Ryback cost Punk a match against Heyman at "Night of Champions," leading to this fight. Seeing as Bryan and Orton will likely keep going until "Hell in a Cell," this probably won't be the closing chapter in Punk and Heyman's story.

When "WWE Raw'" went off the air last week, the good guys rallied and took out Triple H's hired muscle, The Shield. The show ended with Daniel Bryan being paraded around the ring on the shoulders of his fellow wrestlers. Of course, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon can't let that stand, because they're the bad guys.
The big news: Triple H kicks off the show, which is becoming all too normal. He's out with Stephanie as the guys who saved Bryan last week wait on the stage. The McMahons (Triple H is kind of a McMahon at this point) congratulate the good guys on making an impact. When Rob Van Dam lets them know it was because they were fighting for Bryan because he got screwed, Triple H and Stephanie don't believe it.
They make a legitimate argument that the wrestlers should be fighting for themselves, instead of Bryan and...

Omarosa Manigault has started a new chapter. The Celebrity Apprentice contestant seems to have found love again, nearly one year after the death of her fiancé, Oscar nominee Michael Clark Duncan. Manigault, 39, began dating WWE star Titus O'Neil, 36, after the two were introduced by their mutual friend Jawn Murray at the WWE Superstars of Hope Party in Beverly Hills in August, a source tells People exclusively. "She's been really apprehensive about dating since Michael died," the source said of Manigault, who kept vigil by Duncan's hospital bed for 50 days after his July 2012 heart attack and still has pictures of him on her Twitter page.
