Britain's Got Talent suffered another ratings dip on Friday night, early viewing figures indicate. Kieran Gaffney and Liam McNally's semi-final victory appealed to a respectable 9.04m (45%) for ITV1 from 7.30pm, however only 8.43m (37.5%) returned for the results show at 9.30pm. Last year, the equivalent episode pulled in 13.14m (57.3%). This year's Got Talent semi-finals have averaged 9.31m (39.9%), compared to 12.72m (51.8%) for the third series, translating to a 27% audience drop year-on-year. Last night, Stephen Mulhern's Britain's Got More Talent grabbed 676k (3.6%) for ITV2, dropping nearly half its audience year-on-year. Harry Hill's The Best of TV Burp put in a respectable 5.63m (27.4%) for ITV1 between 9pm and 9.30pm, trouncing a repeat of New Tricks, which took 2.71m (12.6%) during the 9pm (more)...
