The Fifty Shades trilogy is a British American film series based on English author E.L. James‘ trilogy of three sexual love dramas, “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
The “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie series is a trilogy from Universal Studios. The lead characters of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele are played by Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, respectively.
The trilogy showcases an inextricable connection between the beautiful Dakota Johnson and handsome Jamie Dornan. Sam Taylor-Johnson directed the first movie, while James Foley was in charge of the second and third. The films were produced by Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti, E.L. James, and Marcus Viscidi.
The same-named book series is the inspiration for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film series.

Though the day of cupid’s arrow is still a month away, that doesn’t stop the studios from trying to heat up these frigid Winter nights (and matinees). And, for at least this February 14, the holiday is claimed by Christian Gray and company (add joke about restraining cherubs). As foretold by its PG rating, this romance is pretty gentle, though it’s also based on a literary “heart-tugger”. Plus it’s got a “mighty strong” country kick with its locale and music (soundtrack and setting). so Hollywood’s hoping for a “long term relationship” rather than a one night (or single viewing) stand with Forever My Girl.

As we endured a lonely Valentine's Day without a new Fifty Shades movie, we can at least take comfort in the knowledge that the sequels will be forthcoming next year and the year after. The sequels will be shot back to back under the direction of James Foley. Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan (top, left) will return as Anastasia Steele and Christian Gray, respectively. … Consider us utterly speechless. In fact, the only response to the following photos has to go something like: ?!?!?!?!??!?! There are plenty of gorgeous gowns and couture confections that float down the runways during fashion week, but these are not them. These outlandish designs aren't just bad, they're bizarre. Some are quirky and others are just flat out mental. In fact, they're just so insane we don't even understand how these models got into many of the ensembles. We're talking elephant head suits, dinner-tables-turned-dress, even a Kermit the Frog coat. And it only gets better from there— there're Legos glued to faces, S&M wear that might make Christian Gray blush and,...

Dakota Johnson went au naturel for her role as Anastasia Steele in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ which was filming in Vancouver on Jan. 16. Looks like Anastasia doesn’t need makeup to look good! What do you think of Dakota’s innocent looking bare-face?
Dakota Johnson, 24, appeared very natural while filming Fifty Shades of Grey on Thursday, Jan. 16 in Vancouver, Canada. She looked beautiful in her blue dress, with brown bangs, and a bare-face. She is a great Anastasia because the character is suppose to not try too hard on her appearance — and naturally look amazing! In this scene, Jamie Dornan aka “Christian Gray” surprises Anastasia with a red Audi to replace her unsafe old Vw bug named “Wanda.” Do you think Dakota’s makeup free face is perfect for her role as Anastasia?

In what were the most eagerly-awaited casting announcements to have come out of Hollywood for years, the couple to play Christian and Ana in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie were finally revealed on Monday (September 2).

"Dakota doesn't look young and innocent enough for me especially as her features are so emphasised in the books, as for Christian I think Robert pattinson would have been better in my view. The guy they picked looks how I imagine Elliot to look like not Christian.

Writer Bret Easton Ellis is known for a coldly cynical, disaffected view of humanity in his novels "American Psycho," "Less Than Zero," and "Rules of Attraction," all of which have been made into films that helped define their era.
But the first story Ellis has written directly for the screen, "The Canyons," about a young actress trying to hide an affair from her movie producer boyfriend, isn't meant to be about today's beautiful people in L.A. Instead, he wanted to write a contemporary film noir -- a love triangle about a girl torn between a rich boy and a poor boy.
"When I decided to set it in Los Angeles, it became apparent that these people would be on the fringes of the industry, this kind of trust-fund douchey guy and this failed actress and the aspiring actor she used to be in love with," Ellis told Moviefone.

Are Kristen Bell and Dax Sheperd engaged? Who might play Anastasia Steel in Fifty Shades of Gray (and who definitely isn’t playing Christian Gray)? Is Cameron Diaz about to star in a big screen musical?
Marvel has requested a meeting with actor Vin Diesel. However, since Diesel posted this intel publicly on his Facebook feed, there’s a good chance the super secretive film studio might not cast him in a film after all. [Vulture] After the Supreme Court voted against Doma, Kristen Bell proposed to long-time love Dax Shepard over twitter. The two have been waiting for gay marriage to be legal before getting hitched. [ABC News] Now that Fifty Shades of Grey has its director (Sam Taylor-Johnson), rumors are flying that Felicity Jones and Alicia Vikander are up for the part of Anastasia Steele. However, the rumor that Taylor-Johnson’s husband, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, would be playing Christian Gray has already...

Director Gus Van Sant has reportedly filmed a sex scene for the planned adaptation of novel 50 Shades of Grey, despite not yet (or maybe not ever) being given the job, according to Digital Spy.
Van Sant, who directed Last Days, the semi-biographical drama film about the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, filmed a steamy sex sequence for the upcoming movie starring actor Alex Pettyfer as a surreal way of bidding to direct the upcoming adaptation of E. L. James’ erotic novel trilogy.
According to The Wrap, Vam Sant cast Alex Pettyfer as the lead male character of Christian Gray in his short feature, while the identity of the actress playing Anastasia Steele is unknown.
The scene filmed was reportedly the moment when Ana loses her virginity to Christian.
Universal, the studio which has acquired the rights to film the movie, is not believed to have commissioned any test reels for the film.
