Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s latest television show, Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights! We’ve got the commentary team of Nigel McGuinness, Kevin Kelly and Tony Schiavone calling the action, so let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Continental Crown Championship Proving Ground Match – Eddie Kingston def. “Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Keith and Kingston traded shots, with Eddie rocking Keith with knees to the face. Both tried for suplexes but neither man budged. Kevin Kelly informed us that Bryan Keith just returned from a tour in Japan. Keith stunned Kingston with a mule kick. Kingston was clutching his jaw. Outside the ring, Keith whipped Kingston into the barricade, with Kingston’s right arm and shoulder taking the brunt of it. Keith headbutted Kingston, knocking Kingston off the turnbuckles and sending Kingston tumbling to the arena floor.

If you haven’t heard, disgraced former President Donald Trump will soon be allowed back on Facebook. Facebook’s parent company Meta made the announcement on Wednesday.
During his monologue on Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel mocked that decision, sarcastically insisting that Trump surely won’t do any of the things that got him kicked off in 2020.
“The president of Meta Global Affairs today said Trump’s accounts will come with ‘new guardrails in place to deter repeat offenses,'” Kimmel said.
“Oh, those will work,” Kimmel sneered. “I’m sure this time he’ll be very well-behaved. Ever since he commanded an Army of dimwitted goons to overthrow the government, he’s shown a lot of restraint. He’s almost a zen master now.”

After a hard day working, some people prefer resting at home before the next day begins. Others go to their favorite bar for a cold drink and honest, unfiltered conversation.
On TV, bars are much more significant. They are more than the place you go to get drunk and probably make bad decisions. Essential plot points happen in bars. People meet and fall in love inside bars. Breakups also occur in them.
For some characters, bars help them put food on the table and clothes on their backs.
We have rounded up seventeen iconic bars and clubs that viewers and characters adore or hate. They may even inspire the name of the bar you might open.
17. Cheers (Cheers)
Kicking us off is the bar, where an entire show is almost exclusively set in.
Cheer is owned by Sam but has had many owners before him, and he later sells it to someone else.

A year after the Election That Shocked The World, Donald Trump has permeated almost every ounce of popular culture — especially television. Just about everything on the small screen these days ends up being interpreted through a political lens. Even things that once weren’t politicized have now been thrust into that world.
That’s probably not surprising, given that the President of the United States is someone who has been obsessed with ratings, and winning an Emmy, over the years. He’s someone who spends all day consuming — and tweeting about — cable TV news, and often treats big announcements like he’s revealing the winner on “The Apprentice.” And that’s led to real-life storylines that would be dismissed as too outlandish or unbelievable if they were actually written on the page.
“This election happens and you have to reevaluate everything,” “Royal Pains” executive producer Michael Rauch said this summer...

Last Year’s Winner: Regina King, “American Crime”
Still Eligible: Yes.
Hot Streak: Regina King won two years in a row for her roles in “American Crime.” ABC cancelled the well-reviewed but low-rated anthology series after its third season.
Fun Fact: No one has won more than twice in this category, though Kathy Bates holds the record for most nominations with seven total nods.
Perhaps the most intriguing competition within this category is internal. “Big Little Lies” offers a few options in supporting actresses, primarily Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley. Dern is a five-time nominee (and two-time Oscar nominee) and beloved within the community. (She’s reportedly up for the presidency of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.) Woodley could’ve been positioned as a lead, given her role’s prominence, and that could work for or against her in this category.

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which airs annually on C-span, will be down at least one major guest this year.
President Donald Trump on Saturday took to Twitter to declare that he will not be attending this year’s press gala on Saturday, April 29. The announcement comes just one day after Trump banned several reputable news outlets — including The New York Times, The Washington Post and CNN — from access to a White House press briefing, and after months of referring to various news media as “fake news.”

Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without a heavily tinseled tree, a tipple before midday and Gremlins on the telly at some point during the day.
The Joe Dante-directed black cult comedy sees protagonist Billy Peltzer being gifted with Gizmo, a cute furry Mogwai discovered by his inventor father in a mysterious Chinatown antique store.
Of course the creature comes with three special instructions which, if not adhered to, result in the spawning of grizzly Gremlins hell-bent on havoc.
The Steven Spielberg-produced movie - which is
currently being fast-tracked by Warner Bros for a remake - celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year, and here's what the main cast members got up to after the movie's success:
1. Zach Galligan

Anyone else starting to see a pattern in these final Sons of Anarchy episodes?
Following Bobby’s unfortunate capture (and loss of an eyeball) in last week’s installment, Tuesday’s hour found Jax & Co. going through very similar motions: Trying and failing to gain the upper hand on an enemy, getting brutally violent when things don’t go according to plan and — after receiving another body part of Bobby’s in a package from Moses Cartwright — silently realizing just how deep this rabbit hole goes.
That said, this week’s episode did manage to throw a few curveballs at us,...

"I don't watch movies," declares Lorne Malvo, the slippery, malevolent figure at the center of FX's new "Fargo" series. (The first of 10 episodes debuts tonight at 10; I've seen the first four.) The line rings true to what we have learned about Malvo, a professional hitman and amateur troublemaker who takes pleasure in encouraging people's worst impulses to see what will happen. But it also functions as a sly acknowledgment of the large shadow "Fargo" the movie casts over "Fargo" the TV show. Created by Noah Hawley (a "Bones" alum who created the charming but short-lived ABC cop show "The Unusuals," starring a then-unknown Jeremy Renner), the new "Fargo" takes place in the same frozen Minnesota winter of the Coen brothers' Oscar-winning film(*), though it is not a remake of that film's story. Still, there are many nods to the movie both big and small — each episode, for instance, opens with...
