Release plans for the survival thriller No Way Up have not yet been announced, but Altitude has gone ahead and shared a trailer for the film, and you can check it out in the embed above.
Directed by Claudio Fäh (Northmen: A Viking Saga) from a screenplay by Andy Mayson, No Way Up is a high concept combination of disaster movie and survival thriller, as characters from very different backgrounds are thrown together when the plane they’re travelling on crashes into the Pacific Ocean. The stricken airliner comes to rest perilously close to the edge of a bottomless ravine with the surviving passengers and crew trapped in an air pocket. With their air supply rapidly running out, a nightmare fight for survival ensues as dangers from all sides hone-in on them.
Mayson also produced the film with Annalise Davis, Will Clarke, and Mike Runagall. Peter Touche and Christelle Conan...

Thor: God of Thunder is the latest “mockbuster” from The Asylum and their second film about this hammer-wielding Norseman. There’s no connection however between this and their 2011 film Almighty Thor, thank Odin for small mercies.
This time out Loki has escaped captivity in Asgard. Who can blame him, his guards Ivar (Vadim Brunell) and Halstein are late with his meals and eat all the olives out of them. He proceeds to kill them and run Odin and heads to Earth to awaken the giant wolf god Fenrir and destroy Yggdrasil – The Tree of the Nine Realms. The usual evil diety stuff.
Odin manages to hold on until Thor arrives. He tells him the only way to stop Loki is to find the halves of The Amulet of Varga.

Jack Ward, the protagonist of The Girl on the Mountain is a man hunted by guilt. A conductor and composer, he was so devoted to his art that everything else, including his family, came second. As a result, he blames himself for the tragedies that befell them.
He’s come to the mountains, possibly to kill himself, but in the film’s opening minutes he fails to find the courage to pull the trigger. Which is a good thing because while washing up in a river he sees a ragged young girl, Aria (Makenzie Sconce; Firefall: An Epic Family Adventure) stealing his backpack. Catching up with her after she conveniently trips, he discovers she’s mute and communicates with sign language. Which, equally conveniently, Jack also knows.

"I know you're scared... but I made a promise and I intend to keep it." Saban Films has revealed an official trailer for The Girl on the Mountain, a survival thriller from filmmaker Matt Sconce shot in the Sierra Nevadas. The film is opening in select theaters and on VOD starting this March for anyone interested. When a reclusive backwoodsman finds a mute little girl named Aria wandering alone in the forest, he must protect her from the forces determined to end her life. When the girl tells Jack of her past, he learns that evil people are out hunting her. Confronted with this knowledge, he must decide if he will fight the coming danger or retreat into his world of isolation. Written by Everette Wallin, Suzanne DeLaurentiis and Dale Fabrigar and directed by Fabrigar, D-Railed is a mystery set on a train that crashes into a river. The sinking train isn’t the only thing for the survivors to worry about though, because there’s a monster in the murky depths who wants some dinner, too. It’s a murder mystery on a train… but with a difference and some added horror to pump up the tension a bit.
This one intrigued me because the whole plot sounded so crazy to me, like a bunch of ideas all tossed into one movie. The problem with throwing so many things at the wall though,...

The Asylum return to the disaster movie well with Skyjacked, a film whose title outlines Exactly what happens in the film! This one comes from English director Rob Pallatina, whose already helmed numerous films for The Asylum after cutting (pun intended) his teeth as an editor on a whole slew of Asylum productions and other low-budget fare. Whilst the directorial reigns are under the purview of someone well-versed in mockbusters, newcomer Alex Heerman pens the script for a film that [like a lot of The Asylum’s movies] follows just about every cliche and stereotype in the book. But that’s not actually a bad thing, especially when it comes to disaster movies And Asylum movies!
