"Baywatch" is coming up on its 25th anniversary, which means it's high time for some of the show's dirty dark secrets to come out. Stars Nicole Eggert and Traci Bingham have dished that they had contract clauses for the show that restricted them from gaining -- or losing -- more than a certain amount of weight.
"If you did anything to gain or lose weight, etc. you were in trouble," Bingham tells Entertainment Tonight (via E! News). Eggert adds, "[There] was a five pound fluctuation you couldn't go up or down."
That's a pretty strict diet, as five pounds can be gained or lost with natural body fluctuations. But considering the cast was frequently nearly naked in "Baywatch's" iconic swimsuits, it makes sense that the show would require its stars to stay the same shape for their arcs.
At least Bingham and Eggert didn't have to stick to the diets for too long.

In honor of Baywatch's 25th anniversary next year, the stars of the hit beach-set soap, which aired from 1989 to 2001, recently appeared on Entertainment Tonight, where they shared behind-the-scenes secrets from the show and even revealed there was a weight-loss clause in their contracts. "If you did anything to gain or lose weight, etc. you were in trouble," Traci Bingham, who played Jordan Tate on the series from 1996 to 1998, confessed. "[There] was a five pound fluctuation you couldn't go up or down," Nicole Eggert, who starred as Summer Quinn from 1992 to 1994, further...
