Began career working in Japan in international affairs. Kicked off her broadcast career in radio before making the switch to TV working for Bloomberg in Tokyo from 1999 to 2000.
Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Was educated at Methodist Ladies' College in Melbourne and graduated as captain of the school in 1990. Graduate of the University of Melbourne and the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
Mother of two sons.
Joined CNBC in January 2001. Became co-anchor of CNBC's "The Call" in March 2011 when Trish Regan departed.
