Larry jokingly pretended to be almost offended that Kermit was cutting him off on his own show and Kermit ad libbed live on the air, "You know how it is with Peter." The next day Peter received notes and messages from all over CNN, he had a reputation for being precise and his colleagues found it funny that even Kermit the Frog noticed.
