There are many mysterious, supernatural forces at work in the small town of King Falls Am. Some of them are benevolent, some of them are indifferent, and some of them are very, very evil. The lattermost of the three takes center stage in the latest broadcast of Sammy and Ben's late-night radio show, and if you thought last month's broadcast was emotional, then you'll really want to pull over the car or stop whatever it is you're doing while listening so that you can hold on tight for the last several minutes of this week's King Falls Am.
Episode Seventy-One – “Long Distance Relationship”: "Sammy & Ben eavesdrop on a late-night ambush and Troy weighs in on a certain host's upcoming contract renewal."
Hosted by Sammy Stevens and Ben Arnold, King Falls Am is a late-night radio talk show that broadcasts out of small-town America and covers a wide range of...

My Big Fat Gypsy Christmas | This Is England '88 | True Stories: Transgenders – Pakistan's Open Secret | Enlightened | Him & Her | Imagine: Books – The Last Chapter?
My Big Fat Gypsy Christmas
9pm, Channel 4
A festive special of the documentary series about members of the Irish travelling community and their enormous dresses. We meet some new characters as they prepare for Christmas. Obviously, producers have chucked in a couple of weddings, so the audience's lust for orange women in giant doilies can be sated. And Celebrity Big Brother winner Paddy Doherty invites us into his home to see how he and his family celebrate. But it's no easy task hiding presents from the kids when you live in a caravan. Or cramming everyone around the table for turkey and pudding. Julia Raeside

Top Gear USA | Terry Gilliam's Faust | Wild Britain With Ray Mears | Spy | Have I Got News For You | Comic Strip Presents – The Hunt For Tony Blair
Top Gear USA
7pm, BBC3
It's not as necessary as it used to be to adopt the brace position upon approaching an American adaptation of a British programme. However, it's hard to imagine Top Gear travelling quite as well. This first series of its American cousin is presented by comedian Adam Ferrara, racing driver Tanner Foust and racing reporter Rutledge Wood. Guests will include Kid Rock, Tony Hawk and, intriguingly, Buzz Aldrin. Andrew Mueller
Terry Gilliam's Faust
7.30pm, BBC4
The Python-turned-film-director's first foray into opera is this staging of Berlioz's The Damnation Of Faust, performed by the English National Opera at the London Coliseum. It's prefaced by a few words from a chuckling Gilliam himself, who views himself as a "tuning fork...

Love Your Garden | Channel 4's Comedy Gala | The Santana Story | Paul Merton's Birth Of Hollywood | Isle Of Wight Festival 2011 | In Treatment
Love Your Garden
8pm, ITV1
It's easy to forget that before Ilkley's favourite son was a daytime chatshow colossus and racy novelist, Alan Titchmarsh was a humble, green-fingered horticulturist. In Love Your Garden, he's going back to his roots (ahem), going up against Monty Don on BBC2's Gardener's World, the show Titchmarsh himself used to front. There could yet be blood on the potting shed floor. This series is aiming itself not at coverage of the unobtainable country estate gardens, but something a little more achievable, celebrating the classic suburban garden. Ben Arnold
Channel 4's Comedy Gala
9pm, Channel 4
The return of the standup show in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital, something you may need to bear in mind as you resentfully endure the comedy stylings of Chris Moyles.
