Award Wining Director, Born in Washington DC and raised in Caracas
Venezuela. Pablo brings with him a strong international background
which he credits with giving him "unique visual sensibility" as
witnessed in his diverse work. Croce was awarded Best New Documentary
Director at the Tribeca Film Festival 2011 for his documentary "Like
Water". A documentary on the UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
Such documentary was distributed theatrically by Lionsgate and Cinedigm
and has gotten successful international distribution through cine-vault
. A well skilled filmmaker with and extensive experience from his
celebrated award-winning music video career. Gifted with a unique
ability to tell a story through images and an artist's eye for
capturing the immediacy of the moment, he has established himself as
one of the most sought directors/producers in the business. In addition
produced and directed a Drama Desk nominee for Outstanding Choreography
off Broadway production Siudy Between Worlds with rave reviews. Studied
Modern harmony and jazz at the Ars Nova College of Music in Caracas,
where he received a strong musical foundation. Later, he studied
Systems Engineering at the Metropolitan University in Caracas.
Specialized Associates Degree in the recording arts from Full Sail
University in Orlando Florida. Attended a Master Editors workshop with
Evan Lotman ACE (Apocalypse Now, The Exorcist, Presumed Innocent)
Studied acting at the New York film academy and directing actors with
Judy Weston in Los Angeles. In 2001, Pablo's devotion to directing
music videos has earned him one MTV award and one Oye Award (Mexican
Grammys) for best video of the year. Also 4 Latin Grammy and 4 Latin
Billboard nomination for Best Director and Music Video of the Year. Has
specialized in destination productions having shot projects in exiting
locations like Bankog Thailand, Madrid-Toledo Spain, Buenos Aires
Argentina, Santiago De Chile, Galapago Islands Ecuador, Rio De Janeiro
Brasil, Bogota Colombia, Mexico City, Toronto Canada, Dominican
Republic, Venezuela, Milan Italy among others. Was commissioned with
high profile ad campaigns for clients such as AT&T, Cablevision,
Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Maxim, Unilever and Procter & Gamble. Films in
development include Julito Maraña, script optioned by Bob Teitel (Men
of Honor, Notorious) at St Street. The Americans, attached as a
director, Zach Mann Producer from Halfway Crooks Entertainment and The
Devils Breath script in partnership with Halfway Crooks Entertainment.
